AMERICAN BAND (AMC, New!) - Chris Mundy ("Low Winter Sun") is developing a new drama which "chronicles the rise of the next great rock and roll band from an unfiltered, insider's perspective." He'll write and executive produce for AMC Studios, home to his overall deal. (Deadline.com)


CONFUSING (NBC, New!) - Mark Levin and Jennifer Flackett have sold a potential comedy to the Peacock described as "a complicated family relationship comedy born from Levin's real life when his mother started dating his father's second wife's brother." The project, which is set up at Warner Bros. Television, has a penalty attached. (Deadline.com)


COURTSHIP OF EDDIE'S FATHER, THE (FOX, New!) - Mark Levin, Jennifer Flackett and Willie Garson are looking to revive the 1969-72 TV series, about "a widower, Tom Corbett (played by Bill Bixby), who is a magazine publisher, and his son, Eddie (Brandon Cruz), who believes his father should marry, and manipulates situations surrounding the women his father is interested in." Conan O'Brien's Warner Bros. Television-based Conaco is behind the half-hour, which has a penalty attached. Garson himself is attached to play Norman Tinker, friend and colleague to Tom Corbett. Jeff Ross and David Kissinger will also executive produce alongside O'Brien, Garson and Fathouse Industry's Levin and Flackett. The WB previously attempted a revival in 2003 with Ken Marino and Josh Hutcherson in the principal roles. (Deadline.com)


DISORDER (AMC, New!) - Feature writer David Scarpa (The Day the Earth Stood Still) has sold a new drama to the network about "the spread of a mysterious virus." No other details were given about the project, which is set up at the AMC Studios-based Double Feature. (Deadline.com)


MARLEY & ME (NBC, New!) - Jenny Bicks ("The Big C") is spearheading a small screen follow up to John Grogan's book-turned-feature, about John and Jenny Grogan (Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson) and their three kids, "who have just moved back to Florida so that John can take up his newspaper column once again. However, when a stray puppy ends up on their doorstep, they are forced to adopt it. This dog, named Marley for the fact that they use Marley's old leash and tags on her, is as will-full, destructive and delightful as her original namesake." The project, which has a put pilot commitment, is set up at 20th Century Fox Television. David Frankel and Karen Rosenfelt, the film's director and producer, are also attached in the same roles. MIGHTY CAMILLA, THE (ABC, New!) - Newcomer Allison Kiessling has sold a new comedy to the Alphabet about "an unlucky-in-love New York social worker who gets recruited by a handsome man from the future as the unlikely savior of humanity." Kristin Newman ("Neighbors") is supervising the half-hour alongside fellow executive producers Melissa Rosenberg and Kate Schumaecker via their ABC Studios-based Tall Girls Prouctions. MR. ROBOT (USA/UCP; W: Sam Esmail; D: Niels Arden Oplev) - Swedish actor Martin Wallstrom has booked a role on the drama pilot, about a young programmer, Elliot (Rami Malek), who suffers from a debilitating anti-social disorder and decides that he can only connect to people by hacking them. He wields his skills as a weapon to protect the people that he cares about. Elliot will find himself in the intersection between a cybersecurity firm he works for and the underworld organizations that are recruiting him to bring down corporate America. He's set as Tyrell, "a highly driven business executive whose Machiavellian pursuit to become chief technology officer is slowly revealed in the wake of a hacking scandal." Portia Doubleday and Carly Chaikin also star. (THR.com)


SEARCH & DESTROY (AMC, New!) - Daniel C. Connolly ("Longmire") has set up a potential drama at the cable channel "set in the early 1950s and centers on a high-level American soldier who has a tough time adjusting to civilian life after coming back from World War II. He is sent to Argentina to track down WWII fugitives." Gran Via Productions' Mark Johnson and Melissa Bernstein will also executive produce for AMC Studios. (Deadline.com)


SELF PROMOTION (MTV; W: Steve Yockey; D: Zach Braff) - Brian Jordan Alvarez, Ben Bledsoe and Derek Goh have all been cast in the comedy pilot, about an overworked assistant named Katie Preston (Alexandra Krosney) who discovers that her dragon lady boss is missing (or worse). Alvarez will play Wyatt, "one of Katie's co-workers at Critical Mass, the chic lifestyle website"; with Bledsoe as Josh Welsh, "the website's political editor"; and Goh as Andrew, "a recent college grad and good natured slacker intern." Nichole Bloom also stars. (Deadline.com)


UNTITLED AISHA MUHARRAR PROJECT (NBC, New!) - Aisha Muharrar ("Parks & Recreation") has set up a single-camera comedy at the Peacock about "a young, agnostic woman who inherits a church and the crew of strong-willed characters who make up her new community." Amy Poehler and 3 Arts Entertainment's Dave Becky will also executive produce for Universal Television. (Deadline.com)


UNTITLED ELI ATTIE PROJECT (FOX, New!) - Eli Attie ("House M.D.") is back in business with the network for a new drama about "a space race between people instead of nations, as two wildly ambitious egos with a long and ugly personal history battle to control the future of space exploration." 20th Century Fox Television is behind the hour with Film 44's Pete Berg and Sarah Aubrey also executive producing the project, which has a penalty attached. ZONE, THE (NBC, New!) - Teddy Tenenbaum ("Ghost Whisperer") is developing a potential drama at the Peacock "set in a present-day prison colony situated in an uninhabited area of California where there are no guards, no laws, and the prisoners are left to fend for themselves. Into this world comes a young woman, skilled in combat and survival, who has gotten herself incarcerated so that she can find her father who went missing before his sentence was up." Melissa Rosenberg and Kate Schumaecker are also on board to executive produce via their ABC Studios-based Talls Girls Prouctions. (Deadline.com)
