Taping on Saturday, February 28 from the Beacon Theatre in New York City, the benefit for Autism programs will feature Stewart hosting an evening filled with live performances, sketches and short films from a roster of comedy all-stars. "Night of Too Many Stars" will premiere on Comedy Central on Sunday, March 8.

Among the 2012 event's most memorable moments was an incredible musical performance by Katy Perry and 11-year-old Jodi DiPiazza, during which DiPiazza played piano and sang along with Perry to Perry's hit song "Firework." Along with Perry, past participants have included Jack Black, Lewis Black, Steve Carell, Louis C.K., George Clooney, Stephen Colbert, Conan O'Brien, Larry David, Jimmy Fallon, Will Ferrell, Tina Fey, Jim Gaffigan, Zach Galifianakis, Ricky Gervais, Tom Hanks, Jonah Hill, Kevin James, Jimmy Kimmel, Al Pacino, Katy Perry, Amy Poehler, Chris Rock, Seth Rogen, The Roots, Paul Rudd, Adam Sandler, Jerry Seinfeld, Sarah Silverman, David Spade, Jon Stewart, Ben Stiller, and many more.

Since 2006, "Night of Too Many Stars" has raised over $18 million. In 2012, "Night of Too Many Stars," through its partner organization New York Collaborates for Autism, gave almost $4 million in grants to 50 programs in 20 states.
Autism now affects an estimated 1 in 68 American children (1 in 42 boys and 1 in 189 girls), a ten-fold increase in prevalence in 40 years. "Night of Too Many Stars" will benefit a variety of autism education and family service programs across the country, in support of the overabundance of individuals with autism and their families who so desperately need quality services.
