THE GREEN SCREEN GOES CLEAN!

A FAMILY FRIENDLY EPISODE OF "TOSH.0" DEBUTS ON TUESDAY, OCTOBER 7 AT 10:00 P.M. ET/PT ON COMEDY CENTRAL(R)

NEW YORK, October 1, 2014 - For the first time in "Tosh.0" history, the show will be family friendly and completely devoid of puking, bodily injuries, strong language with little or no sexual dialogue or situations. This special one-time only presentation of "Tosh.0" will also feature a "Web Redemption" where a family adopts Daniel to give their 6-year-old son Gunner the brother he has always wanted. All this wholesome goodness of "Tosh.0" will premiere on Tuesday, October 7 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on Comedy Central.

"Comedy isn't about being clean or dirty, it's about appealing to as wide an audience as possible so I can sell more tickets to my stand-up shows," said Tosh. "I designed this episode to help America get back the basic family values that our grandparents beat into our parents."

Currently, "Tosh.0" is in its sixth season and premiered on June 4, 2009. It features razor-sharp humor and biting commentary from comedian Daniel Tosh. The weekly, topical series delves into all aspects of the Internet from the absolutely absurd to the incredibly ingenious. Each episode includes a "CeWEBrity Profile" or Tosh giving subjects of notorious viral videos a second chance to redeem themselves from the embarrassment with which they have become synonymous with their very own "Web Redemption."

"Tosh.0" is executive produced by Tosh, Charlie Siskel and Christie Smith. Gary Mann is the Executive in Charge of Production for Comedy Central.

The über-popular "Tosh.0" blog, which is one of Comedy Central's most-visited properties, continues to be updated daily with blog posts, web-exclusive behind-the-scenes content and interactive features. Viewers can follow Tosh on Twitter (currently with 11 million followers) as he live tweets during the show and also by becoming a fan of "Tosh.0" on Facebook (currently at 10 million fans).

Fans of "Tosh.0" can have an enhanced video and interactive experience with the "Tosh.0" iOS app. Now optimized for the iPad, the App features full episodes and episode playlists, a new blog interface which allows fans to consume the blog all on one page with the ability to interact and share, and an upload function for fans to send videos and photos from their iPhone or iPad directly to "Tosh.0."
