BRAVO MEDIA VENTURES TO MANHATTAN'S UPPER EAST SIDE WITH NEW SCRIPTED COMEDY SERIES "ODD MOM OUT"

Abby Elliott, Andy Buckley, Sean Kleier, KK Glick and Joanna Cassidy Join Creator and Star Jill Kargman

NEW YORK - September 5, 2014 - Bravo Media announces casting on its second original scripted series "Odd Mom Out," created by and starring acclaimed author and celebrated fashionista Jill Kargman. Forget about keeping up with the Joneses, in Jill's world, life is about keeping up with the Rockefellers. This half-hour comedy, based not-so-loosely on Jill's own life, captures the fantastically outrageous domain of the uber-wealthy momzillas inhabiting New York's Upper East Side. Playing a version of herself, Jill is living in an ecosystem that has become so elite, so hip, and so trendy, that she now finds herself the "odd mom out." The 10 episode series begins production later this month shooting at various locations in New York City.

Rounding out the cast are Andy Buckley ("The Office") as Jill's classically blue-blood and moneyed husband, Andy, Abby Elliott ("Saturday Night Live") as Jill's sister-in-law and quintessential momzilla, Brooke, Sean Kleier ("Madam Secretary") as Lex, Jill's mega-successful brother-in-law, KK Glick (CollegeHumor) as Vanessa, an ER doctor and Jill's best friend/confidant who does her best to keep Jill in check and Joanna Cassidy ("Six Feet Under") as Jill's mother-in-law, the status-obsessed family matriarch, Candace.

Cast Bios:

Jill Kargman (Jill)

A born and bred New Yorker, Jill Kargman is not afraid to dish about life on the Upper East Side. She's a New York Times best-selling author of multiple books, including "The Ex-Mrs. Hedgefund," the essay collection "Sometimes I Feel Like a Nut," and "Momzillas" (translated into fourteen languages.) She is also a talented tastemaker who has written more than 200 articles for publications ranging from Vogue to GQ and is currently moonlighting as a lyricist for Daryl Roth's new musical. Additionally, she is deathly afraid of clowns and doesn't trust people who like cilantro.

Abby Elliott (Brooke)

Abby Elliott is best known for her four seasons as a cast member on "Saturday Night Live." She was the first second-generation cast member on SNL, following in the footsteps of her father Chris Elliott. Abby's other credits include: "How I Met Your Mother," "Happy Endings," "Inside Amy Schumer," and "2 Broke Girls." This year, she can be seen in the indie film "Life Partners," Paramount's "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles," and on television in IFC's "Garfunkel and Oates." Before SNL, Abby worked and trained with other SNL alum at The Groundlings and The Upright Citizens Brigade Theater.

Andy Buckley (Andy)

Andy Buckley is best known for playing David Wallace on seven seasons of "The Office." He also recently played Julia Louis-Dreyfus' boyfriend Ted Cullen on "Veep." His film credits include "Bridesmaids," "The Other Guys," "Life As We Know It," and the upcoming, highly anticipated "Jurassic World." Andy is also active in helping to raise money for St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital and Denver's National Jewish Health. Currently residing in Los Angeles with his wife and two children, Andy was born in Boston and graduated from Stanford University.

Sean Kleier (Lex)

Sean Kleier cut his teeth in comedy, performing stand up and improv all over New York City and Boston. His original video content has been featured on Funny or Die, The Huffington Post, "The Today Show" and "Fox and Friends" as well as written about in The Washington Post, Time, Al Jazeera, USA Today and numerous publications. In addition to acting, Sean writes and directs content for Motiv Creative, the production company he founded with his brother. Upcoming, Sean will appear in "Madam Secretary," "The Affair," and the Nancy Meyers film "The Intern."

KK Glick (Vanessa)

A graduate of The Neighborhood Playhouse and a long-time student at UCB where she studied with Zach Woods and Curtis Gwinn, KK Glick has performed all over NYC with various Improv groups. She can be seen in numerous commercials and comic shorts. Most recently, she was on stage as Katie in a Brooklyn production of Leslye Headland's "Bachelorette" and can be seen as a correspondent on VH1's "Top 20 Countdown."

Joanna Cassidy (Candace)

Joanna Cassidy won critical acclaim and an Emmy nomination, as well as the coveted Golden Globe Award for her co-starring role as JoJo White, with Dabney Coleman, in the 1983 NBC series, "Buffalo Bill." She then took on her most memorable and classic role as Zhora, the exotic snake dancer replicant in "Blade Runner." She also inhabited the iconic role of Dolores in the groundbreaking live-action/animated film, "Who Framed Roger Rabbit." Joanna received an Emmy nomination for her role as Margaret Chenowith, the provocative psychiatrist and mother of troubled Brenda (Rachel Griffiths) and Billy (Jeremy Sisto) on "Six Feet Under." Recently, Joanna played the role of Dana Delaney's mother and savvy judge in "Body of Proof," she just wrapped "Too Late" opposite Oscar-nominated John Hawkes and completed the Blumhouse feature "Visions" opposite Isla Fisher, Jim Parsons and Eva Longoria. Much of Joanna's charity work is with organizations that are sensitive to the needs of children, animals and older citizens. She is also active in events sponsored by the American Film Institute.

"Odd Mom Out" is produced by Left/Right with Ken Druckerman and Banks Tarver serving as Executive Producers along with Jill Kargman, Piro Vision's Tim Piper and Daniel Rosenberg and Jax Media's Tony Hernandez. Showrunners are Julie Rottenberg and Elisa Zuritsky ("Sex and the City," "Smash") who also serve as Executive Producers.
