ELECTUS AND DARIUS FILMS SELLS "IRON BELLY" SCRIPT TO BBC AMERICA & HBO CANADA

The Scripted Series is Co-Produced by Electus and Darius Films

Los Angeles, CA (June 9, 2014) -- Multimedia entertainment studio Electus, an operating business of IAC (NASDAQ: IACI) and Darius Films today announces the sale of Iron Belly to BBC America and HBO Canada. Electus serves as the production studio for the series, which is co-produced by Electus and LA and Toronto-based film and TV production company, Darius Films. The order from the networks is a script with a goal to commission a series.

The 19th century scripted series depicts a floating prison sailing from Ireland to Australia. What starts as a simple - but brutal - journey across the sea becomes a study of humanity above and below the decks. Follow Captain Byron Gibbons, a relentlessly ambitious empire-builder and Cormac O'Brien, a naive Irish rebel convict who sheds his idealism to become the most dangerous man on board, as they travel to the land down under.

"We are thrilled to work with Darius Films, BBC America and HBO Canada to bring Iron Belly to audiences around the world as the show's unique mix of history, action and drama, will resonate brilliantly with global viewers," says John Pollak, President of Electus International. "Our goal at Electus Studios is to deliver content that is unique in tone and unsurpassed in quality, always captivating viewers and leaving them craving for more."

The show is executive produced by John Pollak, President of Electus International, Chris Grant, CEO of Electus and Nicholas Tabarrok, of Darius Films. Jonathan Sobol, a Canadian film director and screenwriter whose credits include A Beginner's Guide to Endings, and The Art of the Steal, created the series, along with Jeremy Boxen, who has written for Lost Girl and End Game. Both Sobol and Boxen are represented by Jeff Alpern from The Alpern Group.

Tabarrok notes, "I've worked with Jonathan for many years and have made two features with him, I'm thrilled to continue our relationship into the world of high end episodic television. With Jeremy co-writing and Electus as my partners, I can't think of a better team to deliver a great show to our broadcasters."
