NEW YORK, May 20, 2014 - Jason Nash is married, and he's finding it very... difficult. Premiering June 24, "Jason Nash is Married," originally developed as a digital series for cc.com, will make its feature-length film debut across multiple screens and platforms. The comedy film stars an incredible ensemble cast including Nash, Busy Philipps, H. Jon Benjamin, T.J. Miller, Andy Richter, Paul F. Tompkins and Matt Walsh. The film chronicles Jason's struggle to balance his troubled marriage and his underemployment as a comedian and screenwriter.
"Jason Nash Is Married" is now available for pre-order on Amazon and iTunes and upon the June 24 premiere, fans can rent or purchase it through Amazon Instant Video, iTunes, Xbox Video, Sony Entertainment Network, Verizon Flex View, VUDU and Vimeo On Demand.
Written, directed, and executive produced by Nash, "Jason Nash Is Married" features familiar faces from the Los Angeles comedic community, including Rob Corddry, Andy Daly, David Koechner, Jerry Minor, Patton Oswalt, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Paul Scheer, and Nick Swardson.
The film follows Jason (a fictionalized version of Nash) as he pulls every string he's got to pitch and sell a new TV show, amid mounting pressure to prove to his wife (Philipps) that he can contribute to their marriage, dig himself out of his emotional rut and pay his $30,000 debt to the IRS. But when his partnerships with a dubious television producer (Miller) and an overly sympathetic marriage counselor (Tompkins) fall through, Jason is again powerless to address his professional and personal woes-which means it's time get real or risk losing it all.
The film's official Web site is JasonNashIsMarried.com, where fans can find the official trailer, exclusive deleted scenes, video clips, photos, GIFs, and links for pre-ordering the movie.
