LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- Lifetime has yanked its new competition series "Relative Insanity" from its Friday lineup after two episodes.
The series - in which real families are challenged to work beyond their issues by locking them in a room together while competing for a cash prize of $25,000 - launched on April 25 to a very modest 381,000 viewers (177,000 adults 18-49). Said numbers were barely half of its lead-in: a repeat of "Celebrity Wife Swap" (635,000 viewers, 322,000 adults 18-49).
Additional repeats of "Celebrity Wife Swap" will fill the Friday, 10:00/9:00c hour going forward.
Fridays at 10:00/9:00c was previously home to the network's revival of "Betty White's Off Their Rockers," which got the boot after five weeks back in March.
