NEW YORK - May 1, 2014 - In her first primetime television interview, Michelle Knight sits down with Savannah Guthrie one year after her miraculous escape. At the age of 21, Knight was abducted by Ariel Castro and held captive in his Cleveland home for over a decade. Knight opens up to Guthrie about the day she was kidnapped, how she endured 10 years in captivity, and how she finally escaped.
The interview will air Sunday, May 4 at 8pm/7c on NBC's Dateline. Michelle Knight will be in studio on NBC's TODAY Monday, May 5. Knight's memoir, "Finding Me: A Decade of Darkness, A Life Reclaimed" out May 6.
