ANIMATION DOMINATION HD (FOX) - The network will shutter the one-hour block after its June 28 airing, less than a year after its launch. Said brand however will continue on digital platforms, including FoxADHD.com, serving as an incubator for potential primetime series. No indication was given about the futures of the four series that comprised the block: "Axe Cop," "High School USA," "Golan the Insatiable" and "Lucas Bros. Moving Co." (BroadcastingCable.com)


ASTRONAUT WIVES CLUB, THE (ABC/ABC Studios; W: Stephanie Savage; D: Nick Cassavetes) - Bret Harrison and Aaron McCusker have both scored roles on the upcoming drama, which tells the true story of the women behind NASA's early astronauts and the struggles they face when their lives and families are catapulted into the spotlight overnight." Harrison will play Gordon "Gordo" Cooper, "one of the original astronauts [whose] wandering ways pushed his wife, Trudy, to the brink of divorce, but he's convinced her to come back so he can have his shot at space." McCusker then is set as Wally Schirra, "another one of the original astronauts who's also a prankster." Azure Parsons, Desmond Harrington, Dominique McElligott, Erin Cummings, JoAnna Garcia Swisher, Odette Annable and Zoe Boyle also star. (Deadline.com)
