TLC EXPLORES THE FAST-PACED LIVES AND MEMORABLE STORIES OF EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHS IN NEW SERIES "OMG EMT!"
The four-episode series launches Saturday, May 3rd at 10/9c
New York, NY - When emergency medical technicians are first on the scene in response to a medical 911 call, they never know what they are going to get when they walk into a crisis situation. On Saturday, May 3rd at 10/9c, TLC premieres OMG EMT!, a new series that features some of the most memorable and unusual emergency calls, told by real-life EMTs who face these stranger-than-fiction scenarios every day. From the ridiculous to the downright crazy, every call has to be taken seriously, even when it proves to be difficult for the professionals to keep a straight face. Saving lives is not easy, and OMG EMT! proves it, one crazy tale at a time.
OMG EMT! gives viewers a behind-the-scenes look into the unpredictable lives of the tireless rescue professionals as they test their training and learn some new tricks along the way. In the premiere episode, three different EMT teams face daunting challenges that range from an elderly woman with a prizefighter's temperament and a dog with a taste for rescue team members, to the combo of not-so-invincible college guys and a stairway that leads to a backside downslide.
Additional episodes include:
May 10th: One EMT tries to assess a patient's wild night and manage partiers still looking for a good time, while another medic encounters a man with chest pains and a serious love triangle. The other EMT responds to a cryptic 911 call and must unexpectedly deliver a baby on the spot.
May 17th: Whether it is beautiful co-eds hiding a sorority sister's growing secret, a man who rises from the dead or a couple whose desire literally bonds them together, viewers get an insider's look into what EMTs deal with on a daily basis.
May 24th: A big part of life as an EMT is helping others recover from the things they may have forgotten or wish they could forget. A backyard wrestling fiasco, a frazzled parent's determination gone awry, and a passionate moment that fell flat all require some outside-the-box thinking from these medical professionals.
OMG EMT! is produced by Fly on the Wall Entertainment for TLC.
