SHOWTIME ANYTIME(R) LAUNCHES ON AMAZON FIRE TV
NEW YORK, NY, April 2, 2014 - Today, Showtime Networks announced that it is available at launch on the new streaming media device Amazon Fire TV. The network's authentication service SHOWTIME ANYTIME will be available on Fire TV, giving SHOWTIME subscribers free, unlimited on demand access to hundreds of hours of the network's programming, as well as the live broadcast of both the East and West Coast feeds of SHOWTIME, all streamed to their TV. SHOWTIME ANYTIME is available at no additional cost to SHOWTIME customers who subscribe to the network through participating television providers.
SHOWTIME ANYTIME users can now watch current and past seasons of the network's award-winning original series including HOMELAND, DEXTER(R), RAY DONOVAN, MASTERS OF SEX, CALIFORNICATION, HOUSE OF LIES, WEB THERAPY, EPISODES and NURSE JACKIE, along with box office hits, hard-hitting sports, documentaries and specials on Fire TV. SHOWTIME ANYTIME brings its full slate of special features to Fire TV users, including resuming programs previously watched on their computers, mobile or other streaming media devices, and the "My List" feature, where users can access all of their saved programs.
With SHOWTIME ANYTIME already available on Amazon Kindle Fire(TM), the launch of SHOWTIME ANYTIME on Fire TV now gives SHOWTIME subscribers a great new user experience especially designed for TV viewing. SHOWTIME customized the SHOWTIME ANYTIME user experience for Fire TV, combining a vibrant visual design that showcases the network's programming, with navigation that is easy to use with a remote control. SHOWTIME ANYTIME branding will be featured on the Fire TV product box and in retail store displays.
