PRESIDENT JIMMY CARTER TO VISIT CBS's "LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN," MONDAY, MARCH 24
President Jimmy Carter will visit the LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN, Monday, March 24 (11:35 PM-12:37 AM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
President Carter is promoting his new book, A Call to Action: Women, Religion, Violence, and Power, which will be released March 25, the day following his LATE SHOW appearance. The book is President Carter's call to action regarding discrimination and violence against women throughout the world, and draws on his own experiences as well as the testimony of women from all regions and major religions to illustrate the issue of equal rights for women everywhere.
This will be President Carter's third guest appearance on the LATE SHOW. He previously visited the broadcast on Oct. 18, 2004 and Sept. 28, 1993.
The LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN is a production of Worldwide Pants Incorporated. Barbara Gaines, Matt Roberts, Jude Brennan, Maria Pope, Eric Stangel, Justin Stangel and Rob Burnett are the executive producers.
