For the Third Year, ABC Sales Takes Top Spot In MyersBizNet Survey of Advertisers and Agency Media Satisfaction
For the third year in a row, ABC Sales has taken the top spot among broadcasters in the MyersBizNet Advertiser and Agency Media Satisfaction Survey on Broadcast Networks.
Out of eight broadcast networks, ABC Sales was named the top overall performer when averaging six categories evaluated by the organization. Those categories include "Value for the Investment," "Quality Sales Team and Customer Service," "Effective Upfront Presentation and Negotiations," "Marketing and Promotional Integration Opportunities," "Multi-Platform Digital Extensions," and "Relevant Research Support and Intelligence."
The annual study, conducted online from October-November 2013, ranks the TV sales organizations for eight broadcast networks among 18 respondent groups. In total, 291 professionals participated in the study. The Myers Surveys of advertising executives have been conducted since 1984 and include rankings and ratings based on the perceptions of client executives and agency management, including respondents groups based on seniority, region and industry category.
ABC won the "overall" best rating amongst broadcast networks, with percentages based on percent of respondents who rated each network a 4 or 5 on a five point scale. (Five represents market leader and four represents market achiever).
ABC was also named No. 1 in the separate categories of "Effective Upfront Presentations and Negotiations" and "Relevant Research Support and Intelligence."
