A TO Z (NBC/Warner Bros.; W: Ben Queen; D: TBA) - Cristin Milioti ("How I Met Your Mother") has booked the female lead on the comedy pilot, which is set in the world of an online dating company that details the A to Zs of a relationship, from meeting to break-up. She'll play Zelda ("whip smart, thoughtful with a killer personal style"), whose relationship with Andrew (yet to be cast) is the focus of show. (Deadline.com)

AGENT X (TNT; W: William Blake Herron; D: Peter O'Fallon) - Jamey Sheridan ("Homeland") has scored a role on the drama pilot, about Natalie Maccabee (Sharon Stone), the newly elected Vice President of the United States who is tasked with protecting the Constitution in times of great crisis with the aid of her Chief Steward and a secret operative designated "Agent X" (Jeff Hephner). He'll play Edwin Stanton, the stocky and overbearing Director of the FBI. John Shea and Mike Colter co-star. (Deadline.com)

DAMAGED GOODS (ABC/Warner Bros.; W: Lauren Iungerich; D: TBA) - Steve Talley ("Pretty Little Liars") is the first to land a role on the comedy pilot, about "three damaged women and two damaged men who explore the minutiae of love and relationships." He'll play one of said group, Jason, "a lovable ladies man who sabotages his relationships." (Deadline.com)

GUILT BY ASSOCIATION (TNT; W: Dee Johnson & Marcia Clark; D: Nelson McCormick) - Rose Rollins ("Chase") is the first to be cast in the drama pilot, about Rachel Knight, a gutsy Deputy District Attorney in the Special Trials Unit of the D.A.'s office for L.A. County. She'll play Toni LaCollette, a stylish female prosecutor who works with Rachel and routinely crashes at her place. (Deadline.com)

HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER (ABC/ABC Studios; W: Peter Nowalk; D: Michael Offer) - Jack Falahee, Alfred Enoch and Karla Souza have all landed roles on the drama pilot, about a group of ambitious law students and their brilliant, mysterious criminal defense professor, Annalise Dewitt (yet to be cast), who become entangled in a murder plot that will rock their entire university and change the course of their lives. They'll play three of said students: presumably Patrick Donahue ("sexy, sophisticated, confident, cool, and hyper-articulate"), Wes Gibbins ("boyish, easy-going, instantly likable") and Laurel Wilding ("bookish, introverted"). Aja Naomi King and Matt McGorry also star. (Deadline.com)

LAST MAN ON EARTH, THE (FOX/20th; W: Will Forte; D: Chris Miller & Phil Lord) - Will Forte's single-camera comedy - about two strangers who must overcome their differences and work together to ensure the survival of the human race - has been given a series commitment by the network. Said project, which now has Forte also attached to star, will film this summer in anticipation of a midseason bow. Lord and Miller will direct and executive produce alongside Forte and Seth Cohen. (Deadline.com)

LIFESAVER (NBC/Universal; W: Wil Calhoun; D: TBA) - British actor Jonathan Ryland has booked one of the lead roles on the comedy pilot, about two polar opposites - the uptight, neurotic Graham Parmenter and the energetic, large personality Leon Barrow - who become inextricably linked after the latter saves the former's life by giving him a kidney. He'll play the aforementioned Leon in the project, the casting of which lifts said contingency on the pilot's production. (Deadline.com)

MARRY ME (NBC/Sony; W: David Caspe; D: Seth Gordon) - John Gemberling ("Super Fun Night") has been cast in the comedy pilot, about a young couple - Jake (Ken Marino) and Annie (Casey Wilson) - who get engaged, something they quickly realize is harder than it looks. He's set as Gil, "Jake's best friend, who's divorced and pines over his ex-girlfriend." (Deadline.com)

SEA OF FIRE (ABC/Sony; W: Jenna Bans; D: Allison Liddi-Brown) - Christina Chang ("Nashville") and Jeffrey Nordling ("Body of Proof") are the latest additions to the drama pilot, which chronicles the fallout from three teenage girls starring in a pornographic film, an event that tears their families apart and leads to a disappearance and a murder. He'll play Reverend Bobby McAllister ("a jovial teddy bear hiding an authoritarian streak"), the father of the aforementioned missing girl, Jane (yet to be cast); with Chang as Dr. Kristen Harper ("perpetually frazzled, a little brittle") the mother of Jane's troubled boyfriend, Xander (also yet to be cast). Isabelle Cornish, Jack Davenport, Jennifer Carpenter and Lilli Birdsell also star. (Deadline.com)

SECRETS & LIES (ABC/ABC Studios; W: Barbie Kligman; D: Charles McDougall) - Juliette Lewis ("The Firm") has been cast in the drama pilot, based on the Australian format about Ben Garner (Ryan Phillippe), a family man who finds the body of a young boy and quickly becomes the prime murder suspect. She'll play Andrea Cornell, the detective "who is conducting the investigation into the boy's murder, focusing on Ben." Natalie Martinez also stars. (Deadline.com)

UTOPIA (HBO, New!) - Writer Gillian Flynn and director David Fincher (Gone Girl) are set to re-team for a potential import of Dennis Kelly's U.K. series, about "the die-hard fans of an iconic, underground graphic novel who are suddenly launched into their pop-culture thriller when they learn that the author has secretly written a sequel." Shine America is behind the project with Flynn, Kelly and Fincher executive producing alongside Joshua Donen, Jane Featherstone and Carolyn G. Bernstein. (Deadline.com)

AND IN OTHER NEWS... - Emily Rose will recur on "Graceland" as "the FBI's sexy and forceful Assistant Deputy Director who's both Mike's (Aaron Tveit) superior and his ally" (Deadline.com); Idara Victor is bound for AMC's "Turn" as Anna Strong's (Heather Lind) confidante and housemaid, "who was sold into the Strong household at the age of 13 and grew up alongside her" (Deadline.com); Gregg Henry's Carl Reddick has been upped to series regular for the final season of "The Killing" (Deadline.com);
