NEW YORK, January 15, 2014 - Jana Bennett, President of FYI and LMN, today announced the appointment of two key executives within the A+E Networks portfolio. Thomas Moody has been tapped as Senior Vice President, Programming, Planning & Acquisitions, FYI and LMN; and Laura Fleury has been elevated to Vice President, Programming & Development, LMN. The new positions are effective immediately.

Bennett said, "I am confident that these multi-talented executives, tapped from within A+E Networks, will bring a breadth of experience and enormous intelligence to these important new leadership roles at FYI and LMN. Both Tom and Laura bring a track record of significant accomplishment to the table. Their vision, instincts and passion will be instrumental as we build these two brands into powerful platforms."

Moody, who has been with A+E Networks since 2001, has come on-board as Senior Vice President, Programming, Planning & Acquisitions to oversee program planning, strategy and acquisitions for both FYI and LMN. He was previously responsible for developing and implementing the scheduling and acquisition strategies for A&E and BIO. In addition, Moody has also developed and/or served as an Executive Producer on A+E Networks shows such as "Hoarders," "Private Sessions," "Biography," "Celebrity Ghost Stories," and more. Moody will report to Bennett in his new role at FYI and LMN.

Fleury has been tapped as Vice President, Programming & Development for LMN, where she will oversee all original programming for the network. She has been with A+E Networks for over 15 years, and in her previous role at A&E, Fleury developed and served as Executive Producer for many of the network's hit series including Emmy nominated "Beyond Scared Straight," "The First 48," "Parking Wars," "The Killer Speaks," "Manhunters: Fugitive Task Force," among others. She has also developed and executive produced several series for the BIO channel. Fleury will report into Bennett.

Bennett joined A+E Networks in June 2013 as President of BIO and LMN to oversee the development, strategies, marketing and brand development for the channels. Prior to joining A+E Networks, Bennett was President, BBC Worldwide Networks & global BBC iPlayer at BBC Worldwide. Previously she was Director of BBC Television responsible for the BBC's portfolio of six free to air channels in the UK. Bennett previously held the position of EVP/GM, TLC Network and Discovery Pictures.
