College Football: ACC & Pac-12 Championship Games Highlight Schedule
This week's college football schedule will be highlighted by Saturday prime time telecasts of the ACC and Pac-12 championship games, both with BCS implications. ABC's Saturday Night Football Presented by Windows will showcase No. 1 Florida State against No. 20 Duke in the Dr Pepper ACC Championship Game on December 7 at 8 p.m. ET. ESPN will carry the Pac-12 Championship Game Presented by Dr Pepper matching No. 7 Stanford against No. 11 Arizona State at 7:45 p.m. Additional highlights:
· ESPN2 will televise two conference championships: undefeated No 14 Northern Illinois against Bowling Green in the Marathon MAC Football Championship on Friday, Dec. 6, at 8 p.m. and Marshall at Rice in the Conference USA Football Championship Game on Saturday, Dec. 7, at noon.
· ABC will kick off its Saturday action at noon with a Big 12 matchup pitting one-loss No. 6 Oklahoma State against No. 17 Oklahoma. Oklahoma State will clinch a spot in a BCS game with a victory.
· ESPN's lineup will include both of the one-loss American Athletic Conference teams, both on the road: No. 19 Louisville at Cincinnati on Thursday, Dec. 5, at 7:30 p.m. and No. 16 UCF at SMU on Saturday, Dec. 7, at noon.
