NEW YORK, October 30, 2013 - Fresh off a strong launch to its fall season, Comedy Central keeps the good news rolling in as the #1 brand in comedy has renewed three hit series, "Key & Peele," "Brickleberry" and "Drunk History," it was announced today by Kent Alterman, President, Content Development and Original Programming, COMEDY CENTRAL. "Key & Peele" receives a fourth season renewal and is executive produced by Keegan-Michael Key, Jordan Peele, Ian Roberts, Jay Martel and Joel Zadak. "Brickleberry" receives a third season renewal and is produced by Fox 21 and executive produced by Daniel Tosh, Waco O'Guin and Roger Black. "Drunk History" receives a second season renewal and is executive produced by Derek Waters, Jeremy Konner, along with Gary Sanchez Productions' Will Ferrell, Adam McKay, Chris Henchy and Owen Burke. All three new seasons will premiere in 2014.

"We are covering several genres with these pickups: one sketch; one animation; and whatever 'Drunk History' is," said Alterman.

Currently in its third season (Wednesdays at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT), "Key & Peele" is averaging 1.9 million viewers each week and is number one in cable in its timeslot with Men 18-34 (source: Nielsen Media Research, most current data through 10/20/13, premieres only). A true multiplatform phenomenon, "Key & Peele," which also boasts over 400 million streams across multiple digital platforms, features Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele, who are best known for their impressive ability for improv, celebrity impressions and conjuring up original characters including "Obama and Luther," "The Valet Guys," "Meegan and Andre," "Karim and Jahar," "Wendell and Carlos," "Mr. Garvey, the Substitute Teacher" and the players from the annual "East/West College Bowl." The show utilizes a combination of filmed sketches and live stage segments to examine life in a provocative and irreverent way, from two men used to being on the outside looking in. Whether it's satirizing the President, spoofing musical acts, or taking on religion, "Key & Peele" showcases their chemistry, camaraderie and unique point of view, born from their shared background and experiences growing up biracial in a not quite post-racial world.

Credits for "Key & Peele" include Key, Peele, Roberts, Martel and Zadak as Executive Producers. Gary Mann is the Executive in Charge of Production for Comedy Central.

Currently in its second season (Tuesdays at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT), "Brickleberry" is averaging 1.6 million viewers each week and is number one in all of television in its timeslot with Men 18-24 (source: Nielsen Media Research, most current data through 10/20/13, premieres only). The animated series revolves around a group of dysfunctional park rangers at a second tier national park. The voice talent includes Natasha Leggero ("Burning Love") as "Ethel," the smoking hot top ranger; Tom Kenny ("SpongeBob SquarePants") as "Woody," the head ranger who has good intentions, but not always the best ideas; Dave Herman ("Futurama") as "Steve," the overconfident Ranger of the Month; Jerry Minor ("Eastbound & Down") as "Denzel," the African American ranger who isn't comfortable in the woods; Roger Black as "Connie," the unusually strong and masculine female ranger; and Tosh as "Malloy," the cuddly, yet vulgar and spoiled resident bear.

Produced by Fox 21, "Brickleberry" is executive produced by Tosh and series creators, writers and Executive Producers O'Guin and Black. Jim Sharp and Ian Friedman are the Executives in Charge of Production for Comedy Central.

"Drunk History" premiered in July and averaged 1.2 million total viewers over its first season. (source: Nielsen Media Research, most current data, 7/9/13-8/27/13, premieres only). Created for television by series host Derek Waters and director Jeremy Konner, "Drunk History" pairs inebriated storytellers with A-list talent on a tour of cities across America, providing a unique take on the familiar and less familiar people and events from our country's great past as they reenact great moments in history with unforgettable results. As told by narrators including Kyle Kinane, Jen Kirkman, Natasha Leggero, and Jenny Slate, who stumble and slur their way through profiles on figures such as Teddy Roosevelt and the Rough Riders, Patty Hearst, Lewis and Clark, Billy the Kid, and Edwin and John Wilkes Booth, first season reenactments were performed by guest stars including Jack Black, Lisa Bonet, Connie Britton, Michael Cera, Terry Crews, Stephen Merchant, Bob Odenkirk, Aubrey Plaza, Jason Ritter, Winona Ryder, Kristen Wiig, Fred Willard, Luke Wilson and Owen Wilson, among many others.

Credits for "Drunk History" include Executive Producers Waters, Konner and Gary Sanchez Productions' Ferrell, McKay, Henchy and Burke. Sharp and Friedman are the Executives in Charge of Production for Comedy Central.

Available on-air, online and on-the-go, Comedy Central (www.cc.com) is the #1 brand in comedy and is owned by, and is a registered trademark of, Comedy Partners, a wholly-owned unit of Viacom Inc. (NASDAQ: VIA and VIAB).
