DOM STREATER NAMED WINNER OF "PROJECT RUNWAY" SEASON 12

Top Designer Receives Prize Package Worth More than a Half Million Dollars

Emmy(R) Nominated Series Posting Double-Digit Growth Season-to-Season

LOS ANGELES, CA - October 17, 2013 - Fashion fans waiting on pins and needles to know the Season 12 victor of Lifetime's Emmy(R) Award-nominated hit Project Runway (#ProjectRunway) need wait no more! Philadelphia-based designer Dom Streater sewed up this season's competition against fellow contestants Alexandria von Bromssen, Bradon McDonald and Justin LeBlanc. Streater impressed judges Emmy winner Heidi Klum, Nina Garcia, Zac Posen and finale guest judge, Emmy Award-nominated actress Kerry Washington (Scandal) with her winning "Retro Redux" collection, unveiled during the Mercedes Benz New York Fashion Week.

As a result of new features creating the highest level of fan interaction in Project Runway history, the series posted double-digit growth among the key demographics versus last season with a jump of +9% among Total Viewers, +27% with Women 18-49, +18% in Adults 18-49, +17% in Women 25-54 and +10% with Adults 25-54. Prior to the season's launch, Runway Redemption empowered fans to invite a mystery contestant from a past season to compete (Katelyn Pankoke, Season 11); Lifetime hosted a Superfan Contest in which seven lucky winners won a fashion makeover on the show; and fans saw more of their favorite mentor, Emmy winner Tim Gunn, who joined judges for the runway shows in each episode and was allowed to "rescue" one designer he felt deserved a second chance after elimination. As fate would have it, in episode six, Gunn elected to save LeBlanc, who would subsequently storm his way back to become one of this season's final designers. From the Coney Island-inspired challenge to Glamping in the woods, this season proved to be full of high-octane talent and drama with weekly challenges that pushed the creativity of the designers to impress a formidable array of guest judges, including actors Kate Bosworth, Kaley Cuoco, Allison Williams, Emmy Rossum, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and original Project Runway judge Michael Kors, among many others.

As winner of Season 12, Streater won a prize package worth more than a half million dollars, including a 2014 Lexus IS 350; $150,000 from GoBank, the award-winning mobile bank account used by Project Runway contestants throughout the season; $50,000 of next generation technology from HP and Intel to help enable her creativity and launch her new business; a year's supply of resource(R) Natural Spring Water; an all-expenses paid, luxurious spa retreat for two to the Maldives, courtesy of resource(R) Water; a chance to design and sell an exclusive collection at Belk; a complete sewing and crafting studio from Brother Sewing and Embroidery; a fashion spread in Marie Claire magazine; a $100,000 fabric allowance from Tide Pods to inspire fashions that truly pop; and a $50,000 styling contract with L'Oréal Paris. Streater's model, Rayuana Aleyce, will receive a fashion spread in Marie Claire and $25,000 from L'Oréal Paris.
