**HELP WANTED**

SEEKING ADVENTURSOME VIEWERS TO WATCH A ROOKIE TV HOST TEST HIS SKILLS AS A SHARK TANK CLEANER, PIG CASTRATOR, OSTRICH WRANGLER AND BLACK BEAR TRAPPER

Start Date: Saturday, November 9, 2013

Hours: Weekly - Saturdays, 9-10 PM ET/PT on Nat Geo WILD

(Washington, DC - October 16, 2013) Does your job leave you unsatisfied? Are you bored of writing reviews, crunching numbers and those annoying TPS reports? Well you're not alone! According to a Gallup survey, 70 percent of workers are not engaged in their jobs. Luckily, Nat Geo WILD found a small sliver of Americans who actually love their jobs - and they're even Jobs That Bite! (For more information, visit www.natgeowild.com and follow us on Twitter at twitter.com/NGC_PR.)

Jeremy Brandt breaks out of the daily grind as host of Nat Geo WILD's new series Jobs That Bite! premiering Saturday, November 9, at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Traveling across the country, Jeremy tries his hand at a wide array of fascinating, dirty and dangerous animal jobs: everything from camel milker and shark feeder, to beehive remover and dog chauffer. Not only will he get up close and personal with massive beasts, pretentious pets and impossibly slippery critters, but he'll also meet some amazingly adept professionals that have found job satisfaction outside of the office.

Willing to try just about anything, Jeremy dares to perform a dental examine on a 400-pound lion, swim with 9-foot-long hungry tiger sharks and even express a dog's anal glands. The jobs can be messy and dangerous, but they can also be very rewarding.

He gets a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to perform a neonatal exam on a newly born giraffe, measuring and weighing the baby before releasing her to her mother. But not all jobs are as fragile - Jeremy has his work cut out when he herds goats! On the front lines, he almost gets his kneecaps broken trying to catch one. Packed with adventure and humor, Jeremy will take the bite to get the job done.

He travels the country in search of Jobs That Bite! and finds himself in California, Texas, Florida, Maine, Vermont, Oregon and Washington, where he quickly learns the ropes from the unsung folks whose hard work makes life better for animals. He's your quintessential guys' guy - rugged and affable, willing to try anything once, and just as willing to laugh at himself. We'll see him smile through the outrageous chore of helping a young male camel mate with an older female, and settle in for a snuggle with a troop of pampered pooches. Armed with an easy charisma and just enough stubbornness to never go down without a fight, Jeremy is ready to roll his sleeves up and get his wild on. Whether it's riding a horse or wrangling a massive boa, he's game for it all.

Premiere episodes include:

Jobs That Bite!: The Lion Dentist Location: Florida Premieres: Saturday, November 9, 2013, at 9 p.m. ET/PT Do you have what it takes to give a 400-pound lion a physical exam? At the Lion Country Safari in Palm Beach County, Fla., host Jeremy Brandt does the unthinkable: sticking his own hand down a sedated lion's throat. After laughing off a close encounter with the park's unpredictable chimpanzees, he gets a true once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to perform a neonatal exam on a baby giraffe. Even though the majestic animal is only one day old, the giraffe is already more than 6 feet tall! On his next stop, he tries his hand at goat ranching before heading to the Gulf of Mexico, where he boards a shrimping boat in the hopes of striking pink gold! It's a death-defying job that is more complicated than it seems and puts Jeremy's sea legs to the test!

Jobs That Bite!: The Camel Milkman Location: California Premieres: Saturday, November 16, 2013, at 9 p.m. ET/PT Things get a little messy when Jeremy relocates a hive of 60,000 honeybees, gets the "scoop" on poop working at a pet spa and tussles with camels at the country's only working camel dairy farm. In Santa Barbara, Calif., he works closely with a bee rescuer to transfer a hive that's taken up residence inside the walls of a family home to a nearby apiary. Willing to try just about anything, Jeremy then apprentices at a Westlake, Calif., veterinary hospital, where he performs a routine checkup on a 12-foot python and dares to drain the glands of a canine client. But his most ambitious undertaking occurs at the Oasis Camel Dairy in San Diego, Calif., where he assists a young bull camel in mating with an older female - a delicate job that is not for the faint of heart.

Jobs That Bite!: Wild Jobs Location: Northwest Premieres: Saturday, November 23, 2013, at 9 p.m. ET/PT Just what is horse logging? Jeremy Brandt is about to find out! At Wes Gustafson's farm in Snohomish County, Wash., he takes part in the centuries-old method of transporting logs by rigging a 100-foot tree to a 2,000-pound horse! Next up, Jeremy spends the day with a team from the Marine Mammal Stranding Network in Astoria, Ore., where they investigate a dead seal mystery. It's a nasty job; they have to peel off the animal's fur in order to examine a bullet wound. Finally, he heads over to central Oregon to visit the Hang Belly Ranch, a free-range pig farm - hog heaven for these porkers! But it's not all green pastures here - Jeremy's first job is to catch two baby pigs for castration. Yikes, that's a tough one.

Jobs That Bite!: The Ostrich Cowboy Location: Texas Premieres: Saturday, December 7, 2013, at 9 p.m. ET/PT Jeremy Brandt travels to three unusual Texas ranches where he faces off with real "angry birds," makes a good old-fashioned worm pasture, and gives a cow a pedicure. At the Jurassic Ranch he "saddles up" with modern-day cowboys to wrangle a herd of ostriches, the largest birds in the world. Once the massive birds are penned, Jeremy individually catches and hoods the hundred-plus-pound birds before loading them onto a trailer. Next up, at the Texas Worm Ranch, he concocts worm food by mixing horse manure and rotten fruit. Jeremy's final visit is to the cattle of the Lazy D Farm, where he gives their prize-winning show cows a pedicure by using a razor-sharp instrument called a nipper. Shapely hooves allow these princesses to walk better in the show ring and to have better posture.
