NEW YORK, Oct. 2, 2013 -- Bestselling author, producer and philanthropist T. D. Jakes teams up with BET Networks to empower, enlighten and uplift viewers in his new talk show -- T.D. Jakes Presents: Mind, Body & Soul. The hour long, weekly chat fest combines an entertaining mix of celebrity interviews, impassioned discussion and expert advice while shining a spotlight on ordinary people with extraordinary stories. T.D. Jakes Presents: Mind, Body & Soul premieres Sunday, October 6th at 12:00 P.M. ET/PT.

Over the course of 11 episodes, T.D. Jakes Presents: Mind, Body & Soul seeks to equip viewers with life skills and information as told through Jakes' trademark teaching. Each show takes a topical approach to relevant issues that audiences face including family, fitness, finance, living without limits, body image, relationships, healthy living, violence in our communities and more.

As a testament to Jakes' far reaching appeal, celebrity guests and performers include fellow talk show host and author Steve Harvey ("The Steve Harvey Show"), hip hop legend and actor LL Cool J ("NCIS"), superstar gospel recording artist Marvin Sapp, film studio executive DeVon Franklin ("Jumping The Broom"), Laz Alonso ("Jumping The Broom"), Jennifer Williams ("Basketball Wives") and Beverly Bond ("Black Girls Rock!"). Rising R&B star Luke James and soul diva Angie Stone are also slated to perform during the season.

T.D. Jakes discusses the many facets of love with guests Marvin Sapp and film producer Devon Franklin. He also counsels a couple struggling in their marriage.

MBS 02 - MAN TALK

Money, sex, and relationships are the topics of a man talk session with actors Lamman Rucker, Laz Alonzo and singers Luke James and Keith Sweat. Luke James performs.

MBS 03 - LIVING WITHOUT LIMITS: LL COOL J

Hip Hop star turned actor LL Cool J shares how fame, family and God play a role in his life.

MBS 04 - VIOLENCE IN OUR COMMUNITIES

In a town hall setting, T.D. Jakes discusses violence in our communities and offers solutions. Guests include Pastor Corey Brooks, former gang member, Arthur "Silky Slim" Reed, Atlanta City Councilman Kwanza Hall and Emory Professor Greg Ellison.

MBS 05 - IMAGE IS EVERYTHING

The impact media images have on our culture is discussed with former "Basketball Wives" star Jennifer Williams, activist Sabrina Lamb, Spelman College professor Tarshia Stanley and "Black Girls Rock" founder Beverly Bond.

MBS 06 - HEALTHIER YOU

T.D. Jakes challenges viewers to re-train their brains about health and fitness. Guests include a woman struggling with obesity, a man who lost more than a hundred pounds and fitness expert "Dr. Ro."

T.D. Jakes talks to smart, successful, single women in search of Mr. Right.

MBS 08 - FAMILY, FITNESS & FINANCE

T.D. Jakes discusses how to get physically and financially fit with health, fitness and finance experts, and Atlanta businessmen, the Bronner Brothers, discuss the family-owned multi-million dollar beauty empire.

MBS 09 - LIVING WITHOUT LIMITS: STEVE HARVEY

T.D. Jakes has a candid, one-on-one interview with Steve Harvey. Steve talks about his early days, the present, his faith and his willingness to adapt to changing times.

MBS 10 - EMPOWERMENT

T.D. Jakes and his wife, Mrs. Serita Jakes, discuss their daughter's teen pregnancy and the impact it had on their lives. Guests include educator Steve Perry.

MBS 11 - LET IT GO

T.D. Jakes discusses letting go of life's disappointments with former NFL player Chris Draft, singer Angie Stone and two estranged brothers. Angie Stone performs.
