Impractical Jokers - With a Special Appearance by Imagine Dragons on Thursday, Oct. 24, at 10 p.m. (ET/PT): Thursday, Jan. 2, at 10 p.m. (ET/PT)
Imagine Dragons, the alternative rock band that topped the charts this summer with the hit song "Radioactive," are set to make an appearance in a special episode of truTV's hilarious hidden-camera series Impractical Jokers on Oct. 24. Airing Thursdays at 10 p.m. (ET/PT), Impractical Jokers features four longtime friends - Brian "Q" Quinn, James "Murr" Murray, Joe Gatto and Sal Vulcano - who take dares to an outrageous level. Ever since they were teenagers, these four guys have challenged one another to do the most ridiculous public dares imaginable. Now, to find out who's best under pressure, they're competing in unbelievably awkward and outrageous hidden-camera hijinks. And at the end of each episode, the loser must attempt the most mortifying challenge ever, which in the case of the Oct. 24 episode means performing as the opening act at a sold-out Imagine Dragons concert, despite a complete lack of musical ability. Members of Imagine Dragons, who are fans of the show, join the non-losing jokers backstage and get in on the fun. Billboard magazine named Imagine Dragons "The Breakthrough Band of 2013," and Rolling Stone magazine called their single "Radioactive" "the biggest rock hit of the year." Impractical Jokers comes to truTV from NorthSouth Productions (Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta and Double Divas).
South Beach Tow - Season 3 Premiere: Wednesday, Oct. 30, at 10 p.m. (ET/PT)
There's no free parking in this sizzling series about Miami's Tremont Towing. With 8 million people coming to South Beach to party each year, it seems every day is spring break. The problem? There aren't nearly enough parking spaces to handle all the cars. In season 3 of South Beach Tow, Christie adjusts to her new role as boss of Tremont Towing and fights to command respect as a powerful woman in a male-dominated profession. Along the way, she has to contend with brother Robbie, who takes secret steps to break away from the family business for good, and scheming Perez, who discovers a new opportunity to leverage Tremont for his own benefit. Meanwhile, Bernice overcomes a devastating injury to forge a professional alliance with Christie that annoys the other drivers. After a humiliating repo debacle, Kosgrove vows to pursue a healthier lifestyle and finds himself drawn into the dramatic world of online dating. And an office outburst forces Eddie to explore more unorthodox methods of anger management, while newlywed Jerome struggles to hold his marriage together in the face of temptation and a shocking deception. The Tremont team may be a family, but the dollar reigns supreme, making for hilarious confrontations and unpredictable situations, all taking place under the hot Miami sun. South Beach Tow is produced for truTV by Bodega Pictures and Jennifer Lopez's Nuyorican Productions (DanceLife).
