Lisa Berger Named Executive Vice President, ABC, Alternative Series, Specials and Late-Night

LISA BERGER NAMED EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT, ABC, ALTERNATIVE SERIES, SPECIALS AND LATE-NIGHT

Lisa Berger has been named Executive Vice President at ABC for Alternative Series, Specials and Late-Night. Berger, formerly President of Entertainment at E!, will oversee all development activities and current primetime programming in the alternative, specials and late-night areas.

At E! Entertainment, Berger had oversight of all network programming, content strategy, production, talent, and development activities. She was also responsible for management of in-house production companies Ryan Seacrest Productions, Borderline Amazing Productions, and creative operations for Comcast Entertainment Studios, including "Live from the Red Carpet" programming and E! Event Specials.

In addition, Berger developed and managed hit series including the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" mega-franchise, "The Girls Next Door," "Kendra," "Dr. 90210," "Chelsea Lately," "Fashion Police" and "The Soup."

Berger joined E! Networks as Senior Vice President, Programming Development in September 2003. Prior to joining E!, she served for four years as Executive Vice President, Creative Affairs for Fox Television Studios Production.

During her tenure at Fox, Berger was instrumental in bringing the critically acclaimed hit drama series "The Shield" to FX, as well as overseeing all original content for Fox Television Studios Productions. While at Fox, she helped attract some of the alternative genre's most experienced and sought after producers to the studio.

Prior to Fox, Berger enjoyed a successful 12-year run at MTV Networks. As Senior Vice President of Original Programming and Series Development, she was responsible for numerous series, including "Singled Out," "The Jenny McCarthy Show," "Austin Stories" and "Road Rules."
