Top-Rated Summer Series Announces Initial Audition Cities Including Miami, Atlanta and Los Angeles
NEW YORK - Sept. 11, 2013 - Do you have what it takes to win $1 million and be named the most talented act in America?
NBC's No. 1 summer reality series "America's Got Talent" will begin its nationwide search for season-nine acts with open auditions beginning in Miami, on Oct. 26 and 27. "AGT" will crown the season eight winner live on Sept. 18 (9-11 p.m. ET).
The auditions then continue in Atlanta (Nov. 2-3), Denver (Dec. 7-8), Indianapolis (Jan. 25-26) and Los Angeles (Feb. 8-9). Additional audition cities will be announced shortly. "America's Got Talent" is the only talent competition show open to any age and any talent. The auditions are a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for performers across the country to showcase their talent in 90 seconds to the series' producers, in the hopes of being able to take the stage in front of the "AGT" judges. Every type of performer is welcome: Last season's competitors included musicians, dancers, magicians, contortionists, comedians, singers, jugglers, animal acts and everything in between.

Oct. 26-27: Miami - Miami Hyatt Regency
Nov. 2-3: Atlanta - AmericasMart Atlanta
Dec. 7-8: Denver - Colorado Convention Center
Jan. 25-26: Indianapolis - Indiana Convention Center
Feb. 8-9: Los Angeles - Los Angeles Biltmore
Currently in its eighth season, "America's Got Talent" stars celebrity judges Howie Mandel, Mel B, Heidi Klum and Howard Stern. With the talent search open to acts of all ages, "America's Got Talent" has brought the variety format back to the forefront of American culture by showcasing performers from across the country.
"America's Got Talent" is produced by Simon Cowell's Syco Entertainment and FremantleMedia North America. Cowell, Jason Raff, Sam Donnelly, Trish Kinane and Rob Wade are the executive producers.
