SUNDAY BEST Season Six Top Two Finalists Are Detroit Native Tasha Page-Lockhart and Philadelphia Native Kefia Rollerson
NEW YORK, Aug. 19, 2013 -- Continuing its reign as television's #1 religious series, viewers are singing the praises of BET Networks' award-wining hit show SUNDAY BEST, with nearly three million viewers tuning into the season six premiere on July 7th. The show-stopping, foot-stomping competition is gearing up for the season finale premiere on Sunday, September 1 at 8 P.M. ET*.
And after weeks of fierce competition, the SUNDAY BEST judges have chosen their top two stand-outs, Detroit's Tasha Page-Lockhart and Philadelphia's Kefia Rollerson. Next week these two women will deliver unforgettable performances as America votes for who will be crowned this season's SUNDAY BEST victor. In addition to the coveted title, the winner of season six will receive a national recording contract with Fo Yo Soul / RCA Records, a brand new Ford Fusion, and a cash prize. The season finale features performances by some of today's top gospel and soul hit makers including Chaka Khan, CeCe Winans, Tamela Mann and Israel Houghton.
