Jason Morgan (Trick My Truck, Pawn Queens, Deep Sea Salvage) has been tapped by CMT as Executive Producer/Showrunner of reality show "Doomsday Garage," which is set to premiere as part of CMT BIKE WEEK on Tuesday, August 20,
at 9:00 - 9:30 PM ET/PT.
"Doomsday Garage", created and produced by Off the Fence America (www.offthefence.com), follows father-and-son team, Jeff and Zach, as they build Doomsday vehicles for customers looking to protect themselves and their families when emergency situations arise.
These extraordinary creations, also known as Bugout Vehicles, include cars, trucks, buses and boats that are specifically designed for survival under hostile conditions ranging from mob assaults to natural disasters. With a crack team of automotive experts, Jeff and Zach take run-of-the-mill vehicles and turn them into all-out survival machines, building everything from a luxury RV to an armored tank.
"Doomsday Garage" films in Longview, Washington at the site of Jeff and Zach's fabrication shop. "It's a one-of-kind build show because these guys are building one-of-kind machines. It was an any easy 'yes', when I was asked if I'd do it because it has a point," said Jason Morgan. "Most build shows feature wish-list, luxury vehicles. These Bugout Vehicles actually serve a purpose".
