DIPPER, MABEL AND GRUNKLE STAN TO RETURN FOR MORE WEIRD AND WONDERFUL ADVENTURES AS DISNEY CHANNEL ORDERS SECOND SEASON OF "GRAVITY FALLS"

-- SUBWAY(R) Restaurants to Feature "Gravity Falls"-Themed SUBWAY Fresh Fit for Kids Meals throughout the Month of August --

A second season of the hit Disney Channel series "Gravity Falls" has been ordered, it was announced today by Eric Coleman, Senior Vice President, Original Series, Disney Television Animation. The animated comedy, created and executive-produced by Alex Hirsch, follows twin brother and sister Dipper (voiced by Jason Ritter) and Mabel Pines (voiced by Kristen Schaal) as they spend summer with their eccentric great uncle Stan (voiced by Hirsch), in the wondrous town of Gravity Falls. The series' growing fan base looks for the unique "secret message" at the end of each episode's credits. The key for decoding the message is incorporated in various episodes.

In making the announcement, Coleman said, "'Gravity Falls' is mystery, comedy and weird all rolled into one unique show - there is nothing else like it. Alex Hirsch and his team have crafted a show with memorable characters, multi-layered stories, and production values that are rarely seen in television animation."

Throughout the month of August, Disney and SUBWAY(R) restaurants, the world's largest restaurant chain, will bring fans "Gravity Falls" characters and promotional items through SUBWAY Fresh Fit for Kids(TM) Meals(TM). Each low-fat meal will include one of six reusable bags, with a specially designed "Gravity Falls" window decal or sticker.

As of 2013, Gravity Falls is TV's #1 animated series across Kids 2-11 (2.0 million/5.1 rating), Kids 6-11 (1.6 million/6.7 rating) and Tweens 9-14 (1.3 million/5.4 rating).

DisneyChannel.com/GravityFalls is featuring two new games that allow fans to play as either Dipper or Mabel. "Attic Stuff Golf" brings a new meaning to the term "reading the green," as players have five swings to navigate the ball through a mini golf course created from items in the attic. "PinesQuest," which launches August 16, picks up where DisneyChannel.com's popular "Rumble's Revenge" game leaves off. Despite beating Rumble McSquirmish, Dipper and Mabel are still stuck in the game and must successfully complete quests and battle enemies in order to reveal the mysterious figure behind their perplexing circumstances and return home.

In addition to Ritter and Schaal, "Gravity Falls" stars Alex Hirsch as Grunkle Stan and Soos, and Linda Cardellini as Wendy. Recurring guest stars include: Will Forte as Tyler the Cute Biker, Jennifer Coolidge as Lazy Susan, Stephen Root as Bud, T.J. Miller as Robbie, Gregg Turkington as Toby Determined, Kevin Michael Richardson as Sheriff Blubs, Keith Ferguson as Deputy Durland and Thurop Van Orman as Li'l Gideon. The animated series is a production of Disney Television Animation.
