Los Angeles - Thursday, July 25 - BBC AMERICA's General Manager, Perry Simon, made the following announcements during the channel's presentation for the Television Critics Association in Beverly Hills.
NEW SEASON ANNOUNCEMENT:
In The Flesh - Season Two Premieres Spring 2014
BBC AMERICA's critically acclaimed zombie mini-series, In The Flesh, will return for a six-part second season in Spring 2014. From creator and writer Dominic Mitchell, In The Flesh season two returns to the cauldron of Roarton where the living and the undead have reached a fragile peace. After the shocking events of season one, Kieren (Luke Newberry) is hoping to get on with his second life but the arrival of new and explosive characters throws those plans into disarray. Battle lines are drawn and all will be judged. In The Flesh is a BBC Drama Production, Salford for BBC Three, co-produced with BBC AMERICA.
CASTING ANNOUNCEMENT:
Wild Things with Dominic Monaghan - Season Two Premieres 2014
Lord of the Rings star Billy Boyd will join Dominic Monaghan on a trip to New Zealand in the second season of BBC AMERICA's original adventure series, Wild Things with Dominic Monaghan. The series, which earned a Critics' Choice Award "Best Reality Series" nomination, follows host and executive producer Dominic Monaghan (Lost, Lord of the Rings) on heart-pumping adventures to the most remote corners of the globe in search of the biggest, scariest and most exotic animals on the planet. Wild Things with Dominic Monaghan is a BBC AMERICA original production, produced by Cream Productions and Wildfire Television.

Law & Order: UK - New Season Premieres Wednesday, August 7, 10:00pm ET/PT
Georgia Taylor and Paterson Joseph join the cast of the hit drama Law & Order: UK for a new season of dramatic storylines including a devastating train crash and a kidnapping. Bradley Walsh, Dominic Rowan, Paul Nicholls and Peter Davison return in the new season. Law & Order: UK is co-produced by Kudos Films and Television, Wolf Films and NBC Universal.
Burton and Taylor - Premieres Sunday, October 20, 9:00pm ET/PT
Burton and Taylor, stars Dominic West (The Hour, The Wire) and Helena Bonham Carter (Lone Ranger, The King's Speech), as Hollywood's most famous volatile on-again-off-again lovers, Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor. The 90-minute drama follows their private and public relationship played out against their ill-fated appearance in a 1983 revival of Noel Coward's stage play, Private Lives. Written by William Ivory (Made in Dagenham, Going for Gold), Burton and Taylor is a BBC Drama Production for BBC Four and co-produced by BBC AMERICA.
Atlantis - Premieres Saturday, November 23
The new 13-part fantasy drama series, created by Howard Overman (Misfits), Julian Murphy (Merlin) and Johnny Capps (Merlin), is set in a time of legendry heroes and mythical creatures. A mysterious place; a world of bull leaping, of snake haired Goddesses and of palaces so vast it was said they were built by giants - this is the lost city of Atlantis. The series is an Urban Myth Films production for BBC Cymru Wales co-produced with BBC AMERICA.
An Adventure in Space and Time - Premieres November 2013
An Adventure in Space and Time tells the story of the genesis of Doctor Who - which first aired on November 23, 1963 - and the many personalities involved. David Bradley(Game of Thrones, Harry Potter) plays the first ever Doctor, the iconic William Hartnell, in the drama written by Sherlock co-creator Mark Gatiss and directed by Terry McDonough (Breaking Bad). An Adventure in Space and Time is a co-production between BBC Cymru Wales and BBC AMERICA.
Ripper Street - Second Season Premieres Sunday, December 1, 10:00pm ET/PT
BBC AMERICA's Victorian London crime series returns with stars Matthew Macfadyen, Jerome Flynn, Adam Rothenberg and Myanna Buring as Inspector Reid, Sergeant Drake, Captain Jackson and madam Long Susan. The new season moves the action forward to 1890. As the century enters its final decade, the streets teeter on the brink of moral collapse, and nowhere is the declining British Empire's problems felt more keenly than in its dark heart: the East End of London. Ripper Street is produced for BBC ONE by Tiger Aspect Productions, Lookout Point and BBC AMERICA.
Fleming: The Man Who Would Be Bond - Premieres January 2014
Fleming: The Man Who Would Be Bond takes a no holds barred look at Ian Fleming, the man behind the James Bond legend whose real life was as exciting, eventful and sexually charged as his famous creation. Dominic Cooper (Captain America: The Winter Soldier, An Education) portrays the celebrated author and Lara Pulver (Sherlock, True Blood) stars as Ann Charteris in the new original four part drama. Fleming: The Man Who Would Be Bond from Ecosse Films is a co-production for BBC AMERICA and Sky Atlantic and distributed by BBC Worldwide.
Orphan Black - Season Two Premieres Spring 2014
From co-creators Graeme Manson and John Fawcett, BBC AMERICA's critically acclaimed original series Orphan Black will return for its second season in Spring 2014. Starring TCA Award nominee and Critics' Choice Best Actress winner Tatiana Maslany, Jordan Gavaris, Dylan Bruce and Marie Doyle Kennedy, the clone thriller ended its first season in June on a cliffhanger. Orphan Black is produced by Temple Street Productions in association with BBC AMERICA and Space.
