Los Angeles, June 25, 2013 - Oscar, Golden Globe and Grammy winning singer-songwriter Ryan Bingham brings his signature sound to FX's upcoming original drama series The Bridge, penning the series' theme song "Until I'm One With You." The single is released on Bingham's own Axster Bingham Records and is available today Tuesday, June 25 on iTunes (https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/until-im-one-with-you-single/id663084645?ls=1), Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/Until-Im-One-with-You/dp/B00DGKQOQU) and Spotify and on radio Monday, July 8.

The Bridge, produced by Shine America, will debut on FX on Wednesday, July 10 at 10 PM ET/PT.

"FX has created great and edgy shows and with The Bridge they continue to raise the bar for television," says Bingham. "It's an honor to have my music be part of this series."

"Music is such an integral part in shaping the viewers' experience for our television shows and we take great pride in selecting artists who can help tell the stories in a meaningful way," says Daryl Berg, Vice President, Music, Shine America. "Ryan's music resonates with fans and we were thrilled for him to help voice the story of The Bridge."

Critically acclaimed and Billboard Top 10-artist, Ryan Bingham, is well known as the writer/performer of the Oscar, Golden Globe, Grammy and Critics' Choice-winning theme song "The Weary Kind" for the 2010 film Crazy Heart starring Jeff Bridges. In 2012, Bingham released his fourth studio album Tomorrowland. Throughout 2013, he continues to tour the country playing to packed live-crowds and joining Bob Dylan, Wilco, and My Morning Jacket for the Americanarama Festival of Music tour this July/August as well as making national television appearances.

A crime thriller exploring the tensions on the US-Mexico border, The Bridge follows detectives Sonya Cross (Diane Kruger) from El Paso PD and her Mexican counterpart from Chihuahua State Police, Marco Ruiz (Demian Bichir) as they uncover a string of murders on the border, a scene already consumed by illegal immigration, drug trafficking, violence and prostitution. Executive Producers Meredith Stiehm (Homeland) and novelist and television writer/producer Elwood Reid adapted The Bridge for American television from the international hit series Bron, which was set on the border of Denmark and Sweden.

Reid and The Bridge Music Supervisor, John Bissel first approached Bingham to be a part of the series after seeing him perform in Los Angeles.

"On a lark I approached Ryan about writing a song for our show. Not only am I a fan of his music but I knew he'd ridden the rodeo circuit down on the Texas/Mexico border," says Reid. "Ryan sparked to the idea immediately and said he'd take a stab at it. Three months of silence and then one day I got what Ryan described as a 'rough demo' of the song. The song was haunting and unlike anything I'd heard out there as far as title sequence songs go."

"Ryan cut a demo soon after his meeting with Reid, Bissell and Kate Lambert (FX's VP of Original Programming, Drama and Comedy Development), at the Warner/Chappell offices" said Wendy Christiansen, Senior Vice President, Film/TV Music Creative, Warner/Chappell Music. "They were so impressed with the very first take that they asked for no changes, and that's what they ended up using. Ryan is a fantastic, emotionally gripping songwriter and we are so privileged to work with a talent of his caliber."

Publishing for "Until I'm One With You" is co-owned by Shine America and Ryan Bingham with Warner Chappell administering and the single is released on Axster Bingham Records with distribution through Thirty Tigers/RED.
