HALLMARK CHANNEL 2013 SUMMER PREVIEW

"DEBBIE MACOMBER'S CEDAR COVE"
Hallmark Channel Original Series World Premiere
Saturday, July 20 (8p.m. ET/PT, 7C)
Starring: Andie MacDowell, Dylan Neal
In "Debbie Macomber's Cedar Cove," Golden Globe(R) winner Andie MacDowell plays Judge Olivia Lockhart whose Cedar Cove Municipal Court is the professional milieu and social microcosm of issues the judge will face in her own day-to-day life with family and friends. Veteran actor Dylan Neal plays Jack Griffith, the new editor of the Cedar Cove Chronicle and budding love interest for Judge Lockhart. The series is based on the bestselling book series Cedar Cove by #1 New York Times bestselling author, Debbie Macomber. In the two-hour pilot, Judge Lockhart is overjoyed to hear that her name is being put forth for appointment to a Federal judgeship in Seattle by her longtime friend, Senator Pete Raymond. Olivia asks that her family keep the news a secret. In the meantime, Jack Griffith, desperate for a meaningful news story, corners Olivia's mother who inadvertently tells the editor about everything in her daughter's life - including the possible appointment. Suddenly, Olivia (much to her chagrin) is front page news. In the courtroom, Olivia rejects Cecelia and Ian's petition for divorce, because she is convinced the young couple still loves each other. In the meantime, Olivia's feelings about daughter Justine's suitor couldn't be colder.

"BANNER 4TH OF JULY"
Hallmark Channel Original Movie World Premiere
Saturday, June 29 (9p.m. ET/PT, 8C)
Starring: Brooke White, Christian Campbell, Mercedes Ruehl, Michael Barbuto
Desiree Banner (White) may own her own record company but she has struggled to find her perfect melody since leaving the band she once headlined with her brothers Mitchell (Campbell) and Johnny (Barbuto). Her departure from the band, The Banners Project, led her into a marriage that was doomed to fail and deeply damaged her relationship with Mitchell, whom she has avoided for the past ten years. Nevertheless, when Desiree's mother, Rosalind (Ruehl), suffers a heart attack, Desiree and Mitchell rush home and join their brother Johnny to be by her side. Rosalind, however, has ulterior motives for bringing her children together: she hopes that a Fourth of July reunion concert of The Banners Project will save their hometown from bankruptcy. Despite Desiree, Mitchell and Johnny's initial protests, The Banners Project is the last hope for the struggling town as the Banner siblings must put their family feud aside and find harmony both on and offstage.

"SECOND CHANCES"
Hallmark Channel Original Movie World Premiere
Saturday, July 27 (9p.m. ET/PT, 8C)
Starring: Alison Sweeney, Greg Vaughan, Edward Asner, Charlotte Labadie, Benjamin Stockham
Jenny McLean (Sweeney) is a single mom working at a 911-call center struggling to make ends meet and raise her two kids, Elsie (Labadie) and Luke (Stockham). Although still reeling from her divorce, Jenny can't help but flirt when she gets emergency calls from Jeff (Vaughan), a local firefighter she nicknames "Cowboy" for his handsome voice. But when she gets a call that Jeff has been hurt in a fire, she is determined to finally meet him face-to-face. With a broken leg and strict doctor's orders not to walk on it or climb any stairs, Jeff needs a first-floor apartment where he can recover and Jenny is looking to rent out her guest room to earn extra income. Brought together by the unusual circumstances, Jeff soon moves in and becomes part of the family and Jenny is reluctantly falling for him. After learning from Jeff's firefighter friend Buddy (Asner) how Jeff's father died as a fireman in the line of duty and after Jenny receives a 911 call from a police officer in a car chase who ends up dying, Jenny is reminded of how dangerous his job is and has to decide if her family can take a risk to let love in again.
