Devin Velez was eliminated tonight on AMERICAN IDOL, after he received the fewest votes among the finalists. From Chicago, IL, the 18-year-old Velez sang "The Tracks of My Tears" by The Miracles on last night's "Detroit: Music Of Motor City"-themed performance show. In addition, on tonight's results show and 450th episode, AMERICAN IDOL judge and four-time Grammy Award winner Keith Urban performed his hit single, "Long Hot Summer"; OneRepublic, featuring Season Five runner-up Katharine McPhee, performed their hit single "If I Lose Myself"; and Season 11 finalist Colton Dixon performed his new single, "Love Has Come For Me."
Next week, on Wednesday, April 3 (8:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed), the Top 7 - Lazaro Arbos, Janelle Arthur, Candice Glover, Kree Harrison, Amber Holcomb, Angie Miller and Burnell Taylor - return to perform for America's votes on the Classic Rock, No Ballads-themed performance show.
