On Their Desktop And Mobile Devices
NEW YORK, NY, December 19, 2012 - Today, Showtime Networks announced that DIRECTV customers who subscribe to the network can now enjoy SHOWTIME ANYTIME. DIRECTV customers can watch the network's critically-acclaimed hit series, along with box office hits, specials, documentaries, and hard-hitting sports programming anywhere in the U.S. with an internet-connected computer, and on mobile devices including the iPad(R), and iPhone(R) and Android(TM) smartphones.
SHOWTIME ANYTIME gives subscribers the flexibility to watch a vast selection of titles of the network's critically-acclaimed, award-winning series, hit movies and sports offerings , whenever and wherever they'd like to watch it - at home, at the office or on the go. Customers can instantly watch every episode of the network's series, with current and past seasons of SHOWTIME programming including DEXTER(R), HOMELAND, SHAMELESS, CALIFORNICATION, HOUSE OF LIES, THE BORGIAS, EPISODES and NURSE JACKIE.
SHOWTIME ANYTIME is also available now nationwide to AT&T U-verse, Cablevision's Optimum TV and Verizon FiOS customers. The subscriber can then choose their television provider and log-in with their TV provider's authentication credentials to immediately start watching the network's line-up. Additional cable and satellite providers will be announced in 2013.
Subscribers using SHOWTIME ANYTIME can create a personalized line-up using the "My List" feature, which allows users to bookmark and organize their favorite programs. Users can automatically add new episodes of their favorite series as they premiere, and with "play shifting," they are able to start a program on one device and pick up where they left off on another.
