NBCUniversal and Mediacom Communications Announce Wide-Ranging, Multi-Year TV Everywhere Distribution Agreement

Agreement Provides Mediacom TV Customers Broad Access to Top Sports, News and Entertainment Content Including Bravo, Oxygen, Style, Telemundo and the Olympic Games Among Others Across Multiple Screens In and Out of the Home

NEW YORK, Dec. 19, 2012 -- NBCUniversal and Mediacom Communications today announced a multi-year affiliation agreement to offer NBCUniversal's entire portfolio of award-winning broadcast and cable content to Mediacom's customers. This agreement includes expansive rights to carry the Olympic Games, as well as on-demand content from NBCUniversal's cable and broadcast network portfolio and access to live channels across multiple platforms, both in and out of the home across the U.S.

To access the online programming, customers must subscribe to Mediacom's Family TV package. Today's announcement follows NBCUniversal's recent distribution agreements with Cablevision, Suddenlink and Verizon.

In making the announcement, Matt Bond , Executive Vice President, Content Distribution, NBCUniversal said, "As the most watched media company, NBCUniversal wants to ensure Mediacom's customers can experience its award-winning programming whenever and wherever they want. With this agreement, Mediacom underscores the growing value of our broadcast and cable brands, and highlights our commitment to best serve our viewers and their customers well into the future."

Additionally, the agreement covers retransmission consent for NBC and Telemundo owned stations and continued carriage of all NBCUniversal's cable networks, including, Bravo, Chiller, cloo, CNBC, E!, G4, Golf Channel, MSNBC, mun2, NBC Sports Network, Oxygen, Sprout, Style, Syfy, Telemundo, Universal HD, USA, as well as Comcast SportsNet.
