SURVIVORMAN TOP 10
For more than ten years, Les Stroud has been recording his survival experiences in the wild for the series SURVIVORMAN. In that time, he has visited 25 locations where he spent almost 200 days alone and starving while foraging for food and building makeshift shelters. And also during that time, he has received hundreds and hundreds of questions. What's more debilitating: hot or cold? Where's the worst thing you've eaten? What's the scariest thing you've endured?
In the one-hour special SURVIVORMAN TOP 10, Stroud divulges his most personal and nerve-wracking moments of survival. Learn what gave him a mouth parasite that lasted a year, what survival tool he thinks is most important and what his most profound moment was in all of his SURVIVORMAN experiences.
From the deserts of the Kalahari to the depths of the South China Seas, from the sprawling hills of South Africa to the incredible peaks of Norway, every location had its challenges - and Stroud survived them all... alone.
SURVIVORMAN TOP 10 premieres on Discovery Channel Sunday, September 16th at 8PM E/P.
An encore presentation can be seen on Science Channel on Tuesday, October 3nd at 10PM E/P.
