LEGENDARY TALENT AGENT ROBERT BRODER DEPARTS ICM PARTNERS, WILL JOIN CHUCK LORRE PRODUCTIONS, INC.

Los Angeles, September 10, 2012 - ICM Partners today announced that veteran agent Robert Broder, who has packaged many of television's most celebrated series, will leave the agency to join longtime client Chuck Lorre at the writer/producer's Chuck Lorre Productions, Inc. banner, under the company's new deal at Warner Bros. Broder will assist in managing all operations of the company as Lorre continues to develop, write and produce comedy series (including current hits "Two and a Half Men," "The Big Bang Theory" and "Mike & Molly") and expands into feature films, as well as dramatic and potential longform TV projects. Broder also will continue to be engaged in the careers of some of his longtime clients.

In a joint statement, the partnership said, "Bob has served as a mentor for so many of us at ICM Partners, making enormous contributions to our agency and the Hollywood community at large. Most recently, he helped guide and execute the historic management buyout that brought ownership of ICM Partners to the agents of the company. Bob forever will be part of our family, and we look forward to continue working closely with him."

Chuck Lorre said, "I recently told Bob Broder that I wanted to start a production company that made all forms of television as well as feature films and stage plays. I said he should quit being one of the most successful literary agents in the history of the business and help me run it. To my amazement, he said yes. I was only kidding, but it's a little too late to tell him that, so I'm just going to say how grateful I am to have such an incredibly wise, experienced and vaguely ruthless guy at the helm of this thing."

A dominant force in television since the 1970s, Broder was one of the founding partners of The Broder Kurland Agency, which over the years added Elliot Webb, Beth Uffner, Ted Chervin and Chris Silbermann as partners. The agency specialized in representing the industry's leading writers, directors and producers, who created many of television's most successful series. During his time at The Broder Kurland Agency and then ICM Partners, Broder represented and packaged series including "Cheers," "Frasier," "Dharma & Greg," "The X-Files," "The King of Queens," "Touched by an Angel," "Two and a Half Men," "The Big Bang Theory," "Mike & Molly" and "Modern Family," among others.

A devoted philanthropist, Broder will receive The Saban Free Clinic's Lenny Somberg Award at the organization's annual gala on November 19th. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of The Center for Early Education, The Saban Free Clinic and The Association of Talent Agents. He has also served as a Board member of the Park Century School.
