BAD SEEDS (FOX, New!) - Dan Berk and Robert Olsen have snagged a script order from the network for a new drama about "an underground gang of teenagers who team up to bring vigilante justice to the bullies at their socially corrupt high school." Holiday Road's Jimmy Fallon and Amy Ozols co-created the hour, which Berk and Olsen will pen under the supervision of David Hudgins. Universal Television is producing with Fallon, Ozols and Hudgins serving as executive producers. (Deadline.com)
BEVERLY HILLS COP (CBS) - The Eye has landed Shawn Ryan's small screen take on the film franchise, which tracks Axel Foley's (Eddie Murphy) "blue-collar police officer son, Aaron, who helps take down the criminal elements of the rich and famous in Beverly Hills while trying to escape the shadow of his larger-than-life father." The Sony Pictures Television-based hour has received a pilot production commitment with Murphy himself set to reprise his role. Marney Hochman of MiddKid Productions will also serve as an executive producer alongside Murphy and Ryan. (Deadline.com)
DO NO HARM (NBC) - Mousa Kraish has departed the midseason drama, a modern take on "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" about Jason Cole (Steven Pasquale), a brilliant neurosurgeon who wrestles with his dangerous alter-ego. He played Eli Malak, a pharmacologist who helps Jason treat his condition, a role which will now be recast. Production is underway on the show's third episode. (Deadline.com)
HELLO LADIES (HBO) - Nate Torrence and Kevin Weisman have joined the cast of the comedy pilot, which stars Stephen Merchant as a gawky Englishman searching for the woman of his dreams in Los Angeles. Torrence will play Stephen's best friend Wade "who is reluctantly forced to re-enter the LA social scene after his wife of 11 years asks for a separation," while Weisman is set as Kives "who tags along with Wade and Stephen on their nights out. Despite being completely obnoxious, he inexplicably charms women, which is just one reason why Stephen hates him." Merchant, Gene Stupnitsky and Lee Eisenberg are behind the ABC Studios-based half-hour. (Deadline.com)
INFLUENCE (ABC, New!) - Kyle Killen ("Awake") has scored a put pilot commitment from the Alphabet for a potential drama about "the complicated relationship between two brothers - a bipolar genius in human psychology and a slick ex-con - who head a unique agency designed to solve their clients' problems using the real science of human motivation and manipulation." 20th Century Fox Television is behind the hour, with Killen writing and executive producing. (Deadline.com)
INJUSTICE (NBC, New!) - David Hudgins ("Parenthood") is looking to import the U.K. drama, about "a devoted criminal defense attorney with a dark past buried deep in his psyche and heart, who juggles his complicated family situation with his emotionally conflicted feelings about representing heinous criminals." Universal Television-based Wolf Films is behind the hour, which Dick Wolf, Danielle Gelber and Peter Jankowski will executive produce alongside Hudgins. Anthony Horowitz created the original James Purefoy-led ITV1 series and will serve as a producer, as will Jill Green. (Deadline.com)
L.A. WOMAN (NBC, New!) - Graham Yost ("Justified") has booked a potential drama at the Peacock which "revolves around a female spy in 1970s Los Angeles." Sony Pictures Television is behind the hour, with Yost writing and serving as an executive producer. (THR.com)
PIONEER TOWN (ABC, New!) - Peter Huyck and Alex Gregory ("A Good Old Fashioned Orgy") has sold a single-camera comedy to the Alphabet about "a family who moves from New York City to a small town in California in order to simply their lives however the close-knit community to which they now belong only further complicates their lives." ABC Studios is producing the half-hour, which is inspired by Gregory's own experiences. (THR.com)
SLAMMED (NBC, New!) - Jon Rineman ("Late Night with Jimmy Fallon") has booked "a workplace comedy set in the world of professional wrestling" at the Peacock. The single-camera project is set up at the Universal Television with Holiday Road's Jimmy Fallon and Amy Ozols executive producing. (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED ERICA RIVINOJA PROJECT (ABC, New!) - Erica Rivinoja ("Up All Night") has scored a script order from the network for a single-camera comedy about "a Mormon family that moves to Las Vegas." Said half-hour comes from ABC Studios. (THR.com)
UNTITLED JOSH LIEB/NICK THUNE PROJECT (NBC, New!) - Josh Lieb and Nick Thune have sold a multi-camera comedy to the Peacock about "a decidedly un-hip anthropology student finds himself living with - and studying - the wild, untamed hipsters of Brooklyn, New York." Said half-hour comes from Universal Television with co-executive producer Thune attached to star. Holiday Road's Jimmy Fallon and Amy Ozols are executive producing alongside Lieb. (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED ROBIN & KASDAN PROJECT (ABC, New!) - Kate Robin ("Six Feet Under") has booked a new drama at the Alphabet about "what happens when a successful NYC woman suddenly disappears [and how] the lives of her husband, daughter, siblings and parents are turned upside down as they struggle to find out what happened to her." 20th Century Fox Television is behind the hour, which has a script commitment plus a penalty attached. Studio-based Jake Kasdan is also on board to executive produce with Melvin Mar serving as a producer. (Deadline.com)
YOU'RE DOING IT WRONG (ABC, New!) - John Enbom ("Free Agents") has likewise booked a single-camera comedy at the Alphabet about "two young parents struggling to fit in with their new community who realize that their parenting skills pale in comparison to the pros they're now grouped with." The project is set up at ABC Studios. (THR.com)
AND IN OTHER NEWS... - James Gandolfini will make a cameo in Nickelodeon's original movie "Nicky Deuce" which stars his fellow "The Sopranos" alums Steve Schirripa, Michael Imperioli, Tony Sirico and Vincent Curatola (Deadline.com); "Single Ladies" creator Stacy A. Littlejohn won't return for the show's recently ordered third season (Deadline.com); and "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Kyle Richards has booked a guest spot on "CSI" (@CBSTweet).
