SYFY'S "MOST DANGEROUS NIGHT ON TELEVISION" PRESENTS THE PHILADELPHIA EXPERIMENT - STARRING GOLDEN GLOBE NOMINEE MALCOLM MCDOWELL - AND TRUE BLOODTHIRST IN JULY
NEW YORK - July 2, 2012 - Syfy's "Most Dangerous Night on Television" will premiere two new Original Saturday Movies this July, featuring human-sized bat vampires and an invisible warship from the past.
In True Bloodthirst, airing Saturday, July 14 at 9PM (ET/PT), vampires and humans live in a future world where they co-exist - barely. Now, both groups find themselves under attack by a new species of super vampire. The surviving humans and vampires join forces to obliterate the vicious man-sized bat vampires which threaten to shatter the uneasy peace between the two species. A production of UFO Films, True Bloodthirst stars Andrew Lee Potts (Primeval) and Neil Jackson (Quantum of Solace).
Golden Globe nominee Malcolm McDowell (A Clockwork Orange, Entourage) stars in The Philadelphia Experiment, premiering Saturday, July 28 at 9PM (ET/PT)). In the movie, a secret government research project tries reviving the World War II "Philadelphia Experiment," which was an attempt to create a cloaking device to make warships invisible. When the experiment succeeds, it brings back the original ship (the Eldridge) that disappeared during the first test in 1943. The Philadelphia Experiment also stars Gina Holden (Fantastic Four) and Nicholas Lea (Supernatural). Michael Pare, who starred in the original The Philadelphia Experiment, makes a special appearance. The movie is a production of Cinetel Films.
