FOX LIGHTS UP THE DATING SCENE WHEN 30 LUCKY WOMEN SEARCH FOR THEIR SUMMER FLING ON "TAKE ME OUT" DEBUTING THURSDAY, JUNE 7 ON FOX

Series from the Producers of AMERICAN IDOL and THE X FACTOR

The flip gets switched on the search for love this summer, thanks to the provocative and unpredictable new dating show TAKE ME OUT, set to premiere Thursday, June 7 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. Based on the hugely successful international format, TAKE ME OUT is a fast-paced, dynamic and hilarious series in which first impressions really do count, and where one lucky woman has the chance to win the ultimate dream date with a potential new flame.

Filmed in front of a studio audience and comprised of four rounds, TAKE ME OUT begins with "The Flirty 30," a group of 30 beautiful, single women in search of finding a match made in heaven. Every week, the women meet several brave bachelors who individually must impress them with their looks, personality and sense of humor. Each woman stands at a lighted podium with a switch that controls her fate for a date: if she thinks it's a match, she keeps her light on; if her attraction has been short-circuited, then it's lights out and she waits for the next potential Mr. Right.

As the rounds continue and the hopeful mate reveals more and more about himself, the women continue to turn their lights out as they become less and less interested - leaving only the flirty females still fascinated by him. At this point, the seemingly vulnerable gentleman takes control of the game. Now, it's his chance to eliminate the ladies by turning out the lights of those women he's just not into. During the last round, the bachelor will pose one final question to the two remaining women - their answer will determine their fate. After he chooses the winner, the two will be whisked away on a romantic fantasy date. Meanwhile, the remaining 29, plus one new woman, return during the next game for another chance at finding the guy who will light up their lives.

The host of TAKE ME OUT to be announced.

TAKE ME OUT is currently looking for charming, spontaneous, fun single women and men with a competitive and outgoing spirit who know how to make a great first impression and are ready to meet their perfect match. Casting and additional information are available online at www.theconlincompany.com/now-casting/takemeout or via phone at 310-313-9100. Contestants must be 21 years of age to apply.

TAKE ME OUT is produced by FremantleMedia North America. Jeff Apploff ("Don't Forget the Lyrics," "Million Dollar Money Drop") serves as executive producer. Jack Martin and Kevin Williams are co-executive producers.
