Online Voting Continues on NewNowNext.com

Winners Revealed on the Fifth Annual "NewNowNext Awards" Telecast Premiering Monday, April 9th at 10/9C on Logo

NEW YORK, March 7, 2012 -- Logo announced today that Kelly Osbourne will host the 2012 "NewNowNext Awards." In addition, Logo confirmed that Adam Lambert and "Brink-of-Fame: Music Artist" nominee Neon Hitch will perform at this year's show. Now in its fifth year, this highly praised and always unpredictable telecast continues to go beyond where traditional award shows dare to go as it showcases who and what are on the verge of a pop culture explosion in 2012. The "NewNowNext Awards" 2012 tapes in front of a live audience at the legendary Avalon in Hollywood on Thursday, April 5th with a telecast premiere on Monday, April 9th at 10/9C on Logo.

As a television personality, singer, actress, author, fashion designer and model, Kelly Osbourne's diverse talents have always kept her at the forefront of what's hot in pop culture. Always one step ahead of the curve, daring and outspoken in both her personal style and professional endeavors, the "NewNowNext Awards" will give Osbourne the opportunity to bring her always outrageous, personal touch to TV's hottest awards show.

Kelly will be joined on the main stage by musical powerhouses Adam Lambert and Neon Hitch. No stranger to risk-taking, Lambert burst onto the music scene with a style all his own and continues to set the pace for up-and-coming artists. A Grammy Award nominee, with over one million albums sold to date worldwide, Lambert's highly anticipated sophomore release, Trespassing, is scheduled for release this spring. Lambert's appearance promises to give fans the dazzling vocal and artistic performance that has become synonymous with the "NewNowNext Awards."

Neon Hitch's story is just getting started. The British singer and songwriter grew up living on a bus as a gypsy and traveled as a trapeze artist throughout Europe. Now Neon is set to release her debut album, Beg, Borrow and Steal, later this summer on Warner Bros. Records. Signed to WBR by Senior Vice President of A&R Kara DioGuardi (Fox's "American Idol," Bravo's "Platinum Hit"), the Benny Blanco (Ke$ha, Wiz Khalifa, Katy Perry, Taio Cruz, Britney Spears) produced album is shaping up to be a collection of striking songs that deploy Neon's soulful, jazz-inflected vocals atop an organic backdrop of eclectic pop melodies and hip-hop tinged beats. Neon's profile has grown quickly. She's featured on the new Gym Class Heroes smash "Ass Back Home," which she recently performed live on VH1's "Superbowl Fan Jam," "The Today Show," "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" and during the NBA All-Star Game pre-show. Her debut single, "F*ck U Betta"/"Love U Betta" is impacting now.

Fans are encouraged to visit NewNowNext.com or m.newnownext.com/awards to view the entire list of nominees and cast their votes across a wide range of outrageous categories including "Cause You're Hot," "Beyond Style," and "TV You Betta Watch." Additionally, users can vote for the NewNowNext Awards nominees on Twitter by including the nominee name and the hashtag #NNNAwards in their tweet. Nominees for the "NewNowNext Awards" were chosen by the "NewNowNext Academy" - a mix of tastemakers from various creative industries across the country.

Winners will be revealed Monday, April 9th at 10/9C, on Logo's "NewNowNext Awards" 2012 show. The 90-minute special will be taped in front of a live audience of today's hottest emerging and seasoned artists at the Avalon in Hollywood, CA on April 5th. Additional performers, presenters and special guests will be announced in the coming weeks.

Logo's "NewNowNext Awards" have earned a reputation for breaking new ground in pop culture. Lady Gaga gave her first televised performance at the show, Rooney Mara was a nominee well before an Oscar Nominee, Wendy Williams was handed "Guiltiest Pleasure" before her talk show aired, and the cast of Bridesmaids received their first award and made their first televised appearance together at the 2011 show.

The "NewNowNext Awards" builds on Logo's acclaimed NewNowNext franchise, which includes Logo-owned pop culture and lifestyle blog NewNowNext.com and on-air music video show "NewNowNext." On air, "NewNowNext" is the home of indie pop artists you need to hear, as well as style, travel and entertainment segments from its companion website.

The "NewNowNext Awards" are Executive Produced by Christopher Willey and Brent Zacky for Logo. Michael Dempsey of Dempsey Productions serves as Executive Producer and Director.
