Calvo will serve as a co-executive producer. (Deadline.com)

ELEMENTARY (A.K.A. SHERLOCK HOLMES) (CBS) - Robert Doherty's modern-day take on Sherlock Holmes has been greenlit to the pilot by the Eye. Said hour, set in New York City, comes from CBS Television Studios and studio-based producers Sarah Timberman and Carl Beverly. (Deadline.com)

FRIDAY NIGHT DINNER (NBC) - David Koechner is set to star in Greg Daniels's import of the U.K. comedy, about "a traditional but not strictly observant Jewish family and chronicles their Shabbat dinners." He'll play their neighbor, a lonely weirdo with an odd fixation on mom Barbara. Said involvement is part of a talent holding deal the actor recently signed with the Peacock, which could also see the actor reprise his role as Todd Packer on the network's "The Office." Daniels penned the script to "Dinner" which is awaiting a formal green light to pilot. Universal Television is producing while Ken Kwapis is being approached to direct. (Deadline.com)

THE UNPROFESSIONAL (A.K.A. UNTITLED KARI LIZER PROJECT) (ABC) - Kari Lizer has snagged a second pilot order this time at the Alphabet for her comedy about "a high-powered executive who, having dominated the corporate America for years, now faces the biggest challenge of her life when she finds herself unemployed and acting as a full-time mom to her two teenagers." Warner Bros. Television is behind the multi-camera project, which is also home to her NBC effort "Ladyfriends." (Deadline.com)

UNTITLED BEN FALCONE/LARRY DORF PROJECT (CBS, New!) - Actors/writers Ben Falcone and Larry Dorf have booked a potential comedy at the Eye about David Gell, "who learns that there's no place like home... unless home is your parents' house and you're 37 years old." Said half-hour is set up at Warner Bros. Television with the duo serving as supervising producers and Falcone's wife, Melissa McCarthy, as a co-executive producer. (Deadline.com)

UNTITLED GINA RODRIGUEZ PROJECT (ABC, New!) - "Filly Brown" actress Gina Rodriguez has inked a talent holding deal with the Alphabet and sibling ABC Studios. The pact, as is custom, calls for the duo to cast the actress in one of their existing properties or develop one around her. (Deadline.com)

UNTITLED JEFF EASTIN PROJECT (USA) - Daniel Sunjata has booked a principal role on the drama pilot, about "four agents from various federal and local agencies (DEA, FBI, LAPD) who live at a former ganglord's mansion-turned-safe house for undercover agents in Southern California." He'll play the group's senior agent, Paul Briggs, "an atypical FBI agent with a legendary past who has traded in his suit and tie for a more zen existence." Aaron Tveit, Brandon Jay McLaren, Manny Montana and Vanessa Ferlito also star in the project, which comes from Fox Television Studios. (Deadline.com)
