HGTV SHOWCASES SPECTACULAR STAR STYLE IN "CELEBRITY HOLIDAY HOMES"

NEW YORK, N.Y. (For Immediate Release - November 17, 2011) Larger-than-life decorations, sparkling fantasy trees and thousands of glowing lights are just the beginning when it comes to holiday décor for the stars. During two one-hour specials of the viewer favorite, Celebrity Holiday Homes, HGTV will follow six of America's hottest singers, sports figures and actors as they prepare for the holidays. The first special, premiering on Sunday, December 4, at 8 p.m. ET/PT, will feature American Idol winner Jordin Sparks, NFL quarterback Kurt Warner and CSI Miami star Eva LaRue as they decorate their homes with the help of an interior designer. The second special, airing Sunday, December 18, at 8 p.m. ET/PT, will showcase the stunning seasonal décor of actor Wayne Brady, country music star Jo Dee Messina and actress Alison Sweeney.

"This has been so much fun! To see the holiday decor through my daughter's eyes, too, was the perfect kick-off to our first Christmas in this house together," said Eva LaRue.

The first special will feature three spectacular holiday transformations. Designer Jamie Herzlinger will decorate the contemporary home of pro-football star Kurt Warner, his wife Brenda and their seven kids. To suit everyone's style, Jamie will mix an edgy monochromatic silver theme for the adults with a neon color-packed Christmas fantasy for the kids. CSI: Miami star Eva LaRue and designer Sandra Espinet will use a traditional red-and-white theme to create a whimsical Santa's workshop for the family's first Christmas in their Hollywood home. Finally, to create a special homecoming Christmas celebration for singer Jordin Sparks, designer Berkley Vallone will use nostalgic touches from Jordin's childhood to make her home feel cozy and comforting.

HGTV will highlight three more celebrity holiday spaces in the second Celebrity Holiday Homes special. Country music star Jo Dee Messina and designer Matthew Haly will transform her Nashville home into a homespun family holiday with embellished natural materials, such as wood, tree branches and berries. Designer Stacey Vuduris will work with actor Wayne Brady to incorporate a gorgeous Hawaiian theme for the holidays using coconuts and starfish. Designer Sandra Espinet will surprise actress Alison Sweeney with a stunning purple-themed holiday decor. All of the décor, from the trees to the tablescapes, will be decked-out in various hues of the non-traditional holiday color to create a sophisticated and chic look.
