DIY NETWORK HAMMERS HOME GREAT IDEAS FOR INDOOR RENOVATIONS WITH SIX ORIGINAL PRIMETIME SERIES AND FIVE NEW EXPERTS THIS FALL

New Hosts include "Contractor to the Stars" Stephen Fanuka and Alison Victoria, The First Female Addition to DIY Network's Popular "Crashers" Franchise

NEW YORK, August 29, 2011 - As the weather begins to cool and homeowners' landscaping projects begin to wane, DIY Network turns its programming to celebrating the indoors by introducing six new original series - I Hate My Bath, Kitchen Crashers, Brothers on Call, Million Dollar Contractor, The Adam Carolla Project and I Want That - and welcoming five new hosts - Jeff Devlin, Alison Victoria, Jon Wittmaack, Terry Wittmaack and Stephen Fanuka - to its bevy of home improvement experts. From renovating the commonly referred to "heart of the home" - the kitchen - to the much needed sanctuary - the bathroom - to converting the family room or basement into a top-notch mega den or man cave, DIY Network offers plenty of new ideas this fall, including a chance to win a $100,000 kitchen and bath remodel with its annual Ultimate Kitchen & Bath Giveaway.

"We are very excited to unveil this batch of new shows for our fans of home improvement television," commented Ross Babbit, DIY Network's recently named SVP/GM. "Viewers will learn great tips and tricks from our new crop of experts, and have a lot of fun along the way. DIY Network has it all."

Starting in September, new series I Hate My Bath, hosted by licensed contractor and carpenter Jeff Devlin, kicks off the indoor home improvement season with its premiere on Tuesday, Sept. 13 at 10:30 p.m. ET. A spin-off of DIY Network's popular I Hate My Kitchen series, I Hate My Bath encourages homeowners to tackle that much-hated bathroom and provides them with economical yet clever bathroom design ideas using amazing new products and cool tools. Forget about it costing a huge chunk of an annual salary to renovate the bathroom. I Hate My Bath tears up real homeowners' lives and their bathrooms, showcasing along the way impactful alternatives that don't require loans, demolition or divorce. I Hate My Kitchen, hosted by licensed contractor and electrician James Young, does the same for kitchens and returns for a third season on Tuesday, Oct. 11 at 10 p.m. ET.

Also new to the home improvement channel's kitchen and bathroom fare is the fourth installment to its popular ambush renovation franchise, Kitchen Crashers. Introducing interior designer and contractor Alison Victoria, DIY Network's first female Crashers host, the series premieres on Monday, Oct. 10 at 9:30 p.m. ET as part of a two-hour primetime block featuring new episodes of House Crashers and the fourth season of Bath Crashers (Monday, Oct. 10 at 9 p.m. ET). Victoria joins fellow hosts Josh Temple and Matt Muenster as she surprises enthusiastic DIYers at local home improvement shops. In the end, she follows them home and completely transforms their dull kitchens into eye-popping showstoppers.

DIY Network doesn't just crash kitchens. It tackles the difficult and most challenging home improvement projects. Returning for its seventh season is Kitchen Impossible, hosted by carpenter and electrician Marc Bartolomeo, on Sunday, Nov. 6 at 10 a.m. ET. In each episode, Bartolomeo works with frustrated homeowners to achieve the kitchen they've always wanted and shows them that it's never impossible. And for those viewers who feel they have an impossible renovation, DIY Network's Ultimate Kitchen & Bath Giveaway returns Monday, Oct. 24. Until Friday, Nov. 18, viewers have a chance to enter daily on DIY Network's companion website, DIYNetwork.com, for the chance to be the one lucky person who will win $100,000 for a kitchen and bath remodel.

And if kitchen and bathroom renovations aren't inspiring enough, DIY Network introduces two new docu-series Brothers On Call and Million Dollar Contractor. Both series capture professional contractors as they navigate the day-to-day operation of running a home renovation business and offer DIY home improvement tips and best practices. Premiering Sunday, Oct. 16 at 9 p.m. ET, Brothers On Call features sibling contractors Terry and Jon Wittmaack and follows their Ridgewood, N.J., based family-owned remodeling company as they show viewers what it takes to succeed in the competitive world of construction. From changing light bulbs to overhauling living rooms, the Wittmaack brothers and their team do more than 1,000 projects a year and DIY Network's cameras are there to capture their hectic and often hilarious world. And in Million Dollar Contractor, Stephen Fanuka, who is well-known as the "contractor to the stars" for his work with the world's top designers, architects and celebrity clientele, including Tyra Banks, Nate Berkus, Tony Bennett, Michael J. Fox and Lindsay Lohan, gives viewers a behind-the-scenes look at some of the most amazing spaces and construction of Manhattan's high-end luxury homes. Premiering Sunday, Oct. 16 at 10 p.m. ET, Million Dollar Contractor, focuses on the details, the materials and the insane amount of money clients spend to allow Fanuka to create million dollar projects. Despite the hefty price tag, many of the same issues and problems on-site also occur in the homes of everyday people. Throughout the series, Fanuka shares tips and tricks of the trade that first time DIYers and home improvement aficionados will appreciate.

DIY Network's fall programming punch list also includes The Adam Carolla Project and I Want That. On The Adam Carolla Project, comedian and one-time construction worker Adam Carolla (Loveline, The Man Show, Crank Yankers) has an ill-fated plan to buy his childhood home and attempt to turn it into a million-dollar house in just 13 weeks. Offering a different view into Carolla's comedic parody of home renovation, The Adam Carolla Project premieres on Saturday, Oct. 8 at 10 p.m. ET. I Want That is a fast-paced tour through the latest and greatest building products - from smart appliances and the latest in home wiring to new building materials that are amazing, available, and ready to go to work for you. Every half-hour episode, which debuts on Wednesday, Nov. 30 at 8:30 p.m. ET, is packed with in-depth profiles and highlights of a dozen of the hottest "must haves" for every home, whether new construction, remodel, or retrofit-and-freshen-up.

Bringing back home improvement favorites, DIY Network offers new seasons of its popular series: Mega Dens (Season 2, Monday, Oct. 3 at 10 p.m. ET); Rescue Renovation (Season 3, Wednesday, Oct. 5 at 9 p.m. ET); Man Caves (Season 8, Friday, Oct. 7 at 8 p.m. ET); Marriage Under Construction (Season 2, Saturday, Oct. 15 at 8 p.m. ET); Disaster House (Season 3, Wednesday, Oct. 26 at 10:30 p.m. ET); Run My Renovation (Season 3, Wednesday, Oct. 5 at 9 p.m. ET); and Cool Tools (Seasons 8 & 9, Thursday, Nov. 24, Time TBD).

Viewers can also become fans of DIY Network and interact with other home improvement enthusiasts and do-it-yourselfers through Facebook and Twitter. DIY Network is available nationwide on DISH Network Ch. 111 and DIRECTV Ch. 230, and additional cable channel designations may be found by checking local listings and www.DIYNetwork.com/tv.
