BLUE BLOODS (CBS) - Co-creators Mitchell Burgess and Robin Green have departed the series after one season. The search is underway for a new showrunner, the show's third thus far. Ken Sanzel originally supervised the hour but opted to exit shortly thereafter due to creative differences with star Tom Selleck.
THE CORRECTORS (Syfy, New!) - Masi Oka ("Heroes") is developing a potential drama at the cable channel about "two agents of the Exceptions Bureau who are dispatched to a parallel universe where they inhabit the bodies of their identical selves in order to stop events from occurring." Oka, who's co-writing the Universal Cable Productions-based project with Alex Sabeti, will executive produce alongside The Collective and possibly star.
HOMELAND (Showtime) - Former "Dexter" showrunner Chip Johannessen has joined the upcoming drama, a psychological thriller that tells the story of Carrie Anderson (Claire Danes), a CIA officer battling her own demons, who becomes convinced that the intelligence that led to the rescue of Scott Brody (Damian Lewis) a U.S. soldier who had been missing and presumed deal for nine years, was a setup and may be connected to an Al Qaeda plot to be carried out on American soil. He'll work alongside co-creators Howard Gordon and Alex Gansa, presumably as an executive producer. Avi Nir, Gideon Raff and Ron Telem likewise serve as executive producers.
