G4'S POPULAR COMEDY SERIES "WEB SOUP" RETURNS FOR AN ALL-NEW SEASON IN HD ON MARCH 30th

Los Angeles, March 7, 2011 - "Web Soup" is back and armed with more outlandish and ridiculous viral videos featuring jaw-dropping stunts, peculiar pranks and all kinds of extraordinary mishaps for its viewers. On March 30th, the hilarious series returns for a third season that captures the "best of the worst" moments on the web and brings viewers a no-holds-barred look at the week's Internet mayhem. In each episode, comedian and host Chris Hardwick presents a variety of blunders, faux pas, slip-ups and more, along with his signature wry commentary, outrageous sketches and irreverent humor. The third season of "Web Soup," now available in HD. premieres Wednesday, March 30th at 8pmET/PT on G4.
New segments this season include the hard-hitting "Web Soup Investigates," which takes the show outside the studio and on to the streets, as well as a segment based on the popular show "Intervention" where a desperate attempt is made to remedy troubling internet trends. This season will also bring surprise guests, as well as special themed episodes for holidays such as April Fool's Day and 420.
Back by popular demand, fan favorite viral video segments return with "This Week in FAIL" featuring a weekly collection of insane and hilarious injuries and "Web Cam Junction" showcasing the craziest, most unhinged personalities on the internet. "Pussy Stampede" is also back with a smorgasbord of new cute cat videos and "WTF?" once again brings viewers the strangest stuff on the web. Lastly "Web Soup's" most popular segment, "Things You Can't Unsee," also returns to highlight the web's grossest, scariest and most unbelieveable viral videos.
Chris Hardwick is a popular stand-up comedian and gadget guy who serves as tech correspondent on G4's "Attack of the Show." His musical comedy duo Hard 'n Phirm has played numerous festivals including the Vancouver Comedy Festival, San Francisco Sketchfest, SXSW in Austin and Coachella with the Comedians of Comedy. Hardwick writes for Wired Magazine and provides voices for the animate series, "Back at the Barnyard" on Nickelodeon.
