GENERATIONS (TNT) - John Sacret Young's long-in-the-works project, "a one-hour drama series [which] crosses back and forth through time to follow the lives of three generations of the same family who have lived in the same house," has received a cast-contingent pilot order from the cable channel. Young penned the hour and is executive producing alongside Bill Holderman, Robert Redford and his Wildwood Enterprises banner.

I JUST WANT MY PANTS BACK (MTV) - The cable channel has reportedly ordered the comedy, about "young 20-somethings who try to make a life for themselves in New York City," to series. Elisabeth Hower, Jordan Carlos, Kim Shaw and Peter Vack co-star in the project, which comes from creator David J. Rosen and director Doug Liman. The pair executive produced the half-hour alongside Dave Bartis and Gene Klein for Universal Cable Productions.

RINGER (CBS, New!) - Sarah Michelle Gellar ("Buffy the Vampire Slayer") is set to topline a potential drama at the Eye about "a troubled young woman (Gellar) who, while on the run from the mob, hides out by inhabiting the life of her wealthy twin sister, until she learns that her twin's life has a bounty on it as well." Eric Charmelo and Nicole Snyder ("Supernatural") co-wrote the hour, which comes from ABC Studios, CBS Television Studios and Brillstein Entertainment Partners. The latter's Peter Traugott will executive produce with Gellar, Charmelo and Snyder serving as co-executive producers.

SUBURGATORY (ABC) - Emily Kapnek's single-camera comedy, "a heightened view of suburbia with a cinematic quality that evokes the scope and horror of perfection," has been ordered to pilot. Said half-hour, penned and executive produced by Kapnek, comes from Warner Bros. Television.

UNTITLED SUSANNAH GRANT PROJECT (CBS, New!) - Feature writer Susannah Grant ("Erin Brockovich") has landed a pilot order from the network for a new drama about "an ultra-competitive surgeon whose life is changed forever when his ex-wife dies and begins teaching him what life is all about from the hereafter." Sarah Timberman and Carl Beverly are also executive producing the hour, which is set up at their CBS Television Studios-based banner.
