Lara Spotts Promoted to Vice President of East Coast Development for Bravo

LARA SPOTTS PROMOTED TO VICE PRESIDENT OF EAST COAST DEVELOPMENT FOR BRAVO

NEW YORK - November 3, 2010 - With recent news of Bravo moving into five nights of original programming launching this Sunday, November 7th, the network strengthened its development team by elevating Lara Spotts to Vice President, East Coast Development for Bravo. The announcement was made today by Eli Lehrer, the Vice President of Development for Bravo Media. Spotts will be responsible for all East Coast development, including pilots, casting reels, and concept development. She will report to Lehrer and will continue to be based in New York.

"Lara has been an outstanding member of the programming and development team for the past two years," stated Lehrer. "Her diverse background, inspiring creativity and innate understanding of character and story are invaluable in shaping some of the buzziest programming for the network and I am confident that she will continue to help us break new ground with our upcoming development projects."

Spotts previously held the role of Director of Programming and Development for the Network and served as Executive Producer on some of Bravo's water cooler programming including: "The Fashion Show," "Work of Art: The Next Great Artist," "The Rachel Zoe Project," and "Make Me A Supermodel."

Before joining Bravo, Spotts held positions in production, development and casting for MTV, VH1, LOGO, Showtime, Disney Channel and ABC. She co-developed and co-executive produced her own documentary "Raising Teens" for Logo and wrote and produced the short film "One Sung Hero," which premiered at Sundance in 2006. She also was a staff writer for Showtime's "The L Word" and created and produced "Totally Hoops" for the Disney Channel. Other projects she has worked on include "Real World London," "Road Rules" seasons 1 and 3, "Bug Juice 2," "Fanclub: Stevie Nicks," "Military Diaries," "Rock Bodies: From Flab to Fab," and "The Bachelorette."

Spotts has a BFA in Cinema Studies from New York University. She currently resides in New York with her wife, Maia and their twin boys Calder and Rizzo, age three.
