Bravo Scores No. 1 Network on Television in its Time Slot and No. 1 Cable Telecast for the Day Among Adults 18-49
Episode Marks Highest Rated Monday Telecast Ever and Highest Rated Telecast of the Year Among Total Viewers
NEW YORK - August 31, 2010 - Bravo's "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" continues to pull in record-breaking numbers for the network, with last night's reunion special becoming the highest rated episode in Real Housewives franchise history in all key demos and the No. 1 cable telecast for the day among adults 18-49, according to Nielson Media Research. Part one of the reunion special brought in 3.9 million total viewers and 2.7 million adults 18-49, with double digit increases from last week's record-breaking finale, up 15 percent and 18 percent respectively.
This was the series' second consecutive week of earning Bravo's highest Monday telecast ever and the highest telecast of the year among total viewers, making Bravo the No. 1 network on television in its timeslot among adults 18-49. The episode, which featured all the ladies under one roof for the first time ever this season, also bolstered Bravo's Monday night ratings, helping Bravo earn its highest rated Monday primetime ever among adults 18-49 averaging 1.2 million viewers in the demo. On the heels of the record breaking ratings success of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" the network also announced today that it will pick up a third season of the New Jersey drama as well as a fourth season of the bridge and tunnel counterpart, "The Real Housewives of New York."
