NO ORDINARY FAMILY (ABC) - Jackson Rathbone ("Eclipse") has booked a potentially recurring role on the newcomer, about a family that develops superpowers. He'll play Trent Stafford, a high school classmate of Kay Panabaker's character who "was recently the victim of a home invasion robbery." Said hour launches Tuesday, September 28 at 8:00/7:00c.
UNTITLED CRAIGSLIST KILLER PROJECT (Lifetime, New!) - The cable channel is reportedly close to greenlighting a new docudrama about Philip Markoff, who allegedly killed a woman he met through Craigslist. Markoff, a Boston University med student and engaged to be married, committed suicide earlier this month in a Boston jail cell while awaiting trial for the murder of Julissa Brisman. Stephen Kay is attached to direct the Sony Pictures Television-based project from a script by Donald Martin and Stephen Tolkin. Judith Verno is the executive producer. In addition to Brisman's murder, Markoff was accused of robbing a Las Vegas woman and attacking a stripper.
UNTITLED WILL FETTERS PROJECT (ABC, New!) - Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage are developing a new drama at the Alphabet about "a group of twentysomething roommates who juggle their personal and professional lives in Washington, D.C." Feature writer Will Fetters ("Remember Me") is penning the Warner Bros. Television-based hour, which has a put pilot commitment. He'll also executive produce alongside Fake Empire's Schwartz, Savage and Leonard Goldstein. New York Times writer Ashley Parker is also attached as a consultant.
