DEXTER (Showtime) - Maria Doyle Kennedy ("The Tudors") and Shawn Hatosy ("Southland") have both landed roles on the show's upcoming fifth season. She'll play an Irish nanny Dexter Morgan (Michael C. Hall) hires while he's set as an unspecified bad guy. Production is underway on the new season, featuring special guest star Julia Stiles, for a fall premiere.
JUSTIFIED (FX) - Executive producers Sarah Timberman and Carl Beverly have set up shop at CBS Television Studios, inking a two-year overall deal with the company. The pair had been based at Sony Pictures Television for the bulk of the past decade, where they began as 25C Productions before morphing into Timberman-Beverly Productions. Said development won't affect their status on Sony's freshman hit "Justified."
MIXED SIGNALS (FOX) - Aya Cash ("Strange Brew") has joined the cast of the midseason comedy, about three friends at different stages in their relationships. She'll play Callie, the live-in girlfriend of one of them (Nelson Franklin). Cash takes over for Alexandra Breckenridge, who starred in the original pilot.
RUNNING WILDE (FOX) - Executive producers Eric and Kim Tannenbaum have inked a two-year overall deal with CBS Television Studios. The pact spells the end of their run at Sony Pictures Television where their Tantamount Studios banner with Mitch Hurwitz was based. The duo will still serve as executive producers of "Running Wilde" and any others projects still in the hopper as part of their Tantamount roster.
