People's Choice Awards 2010 Winners in Movies, Television and Music Announced at the First Awards Show of 2010

PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARDS 2010 WINNERS IN MOVIES, TELEVISION AND MUSIC ANNOUNCED AT THE FIRST AWARDS SHOW OF 2010

Winners Include "The Big Bang Theory," Sandra Bullock, Johnny Depp, "House," Ashton Kutcher, Taylor Lautner, "The Proposal," Taylor Swift and Keith Urban

Winners for PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARDS 2010 were announced during a live broadcast hosted by Queen Latifah at the Nokia Theater, L.A. LIVE on Wednesday, Jan. 6 (9:00-11:00 PM, ET/ delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network. Fans cast a record-breaking 60 million plus votes on http://www.peopleschoice.com/. Two categories remained open for online voting through the first hour of the broadcast - Favorite New TV Comedy ("Glee") and Favorite New TV Drama ("The Vampire Diaries").

Also, during the live awards show, fans were offered the opportunity to begin voting on two new projects exclusively on http://www.peopleschoice.com/. The International 3D Society announced the nominees for Favorite 3D Live Action Movie and Favorite 3D Animation Movie. The winners will be revealed at the 3DNA Awards of the International 3D Society at Mann's Chinese Theater on February 23. In addition, the American Film Market announced the nominees for the Favorite Film Pitch contest. The winning pitch, chosen by the fans on http://www.peopleschoice.com/ as the film they most want to see get made, will have an increased opportunity to be produced and distributed. Both these online votes will end on January 20.
