truTV Orders More Side-Splitting Episodes of Original Series IT ONLY HURTS WHEN I LAUGH
Hilarious Caught-on-Tape Show Airs Thursdays, with Back-to-Back Episodes Starting at 10 p.m. (ET)
truTV has ordered 13 additional episodes of its hit original series IT ONLY HURTS WHEN I LAUGH, the series that sets out to prove that painful humiliation can be really funny, especially when it happens to someone else. The hilarious, caught-on-tape series currently airs Thursdays on truTV, with back-to-back episodes beginning at 10 p.m. (ET/PT).
IT ONLY HURTS WHEN I LAUGH brings together the most outrageous video clips of people in side-splitting situations. Each episode features a treasure trove of hysterical videos. The show premiered Oct. 22 and has since earned averages of 1.3 million viewers; 706,000 adults 18-49 and 410,000 men 18-49.
IT ONLY HURTS WHEN I LAUGH comes to truTV from producer Brad Lachman (Don't Forget the Lyrics), whose no-holds-barred series Rehab: Party at the Hard Rock Hotel is one of the network's biggest hits. Garry Bormet serves as producer, and Bill Bracken serves as supervising producer. For truTV, Robyn Hutt serves as executive in charge of production. Jon Crowley serves as executive producer.
